  • If he was a new signing and we hadn’t seen him up close, we would be wanking ourselves silly after that half, about signing a player who seems to have it all at this level; vision, energy, box-to-box,

All fair points that you make, I think he deserves more than 3 games to get us challenging for the top, especially as it is his first real crack at having a decent transfer budget, time will tell.

  • Most men with dogs didnt see 3 in midfield

If it helps us get up the league I'll count it 😀

Well, it might help us get a plum draw, some money in the coffers, and maybe go towards a good signing in January!

Not watching, just reading, but a few do seem to feel his crossing could be better.

Similar last season.

It is something of a bug bear for me, but maybe crossing is more difficult than I thought.

If he was better at crossing he probably wouldn't be playing in Division 3 :)

I am properly impressed by Desmond & Matete.

... & can't wait for Tu-Tu to clatter someone just so I can refer to Desmond the Dekker.

Against Charlton we had 17 touches in the opposition box

So far tonight we've had 34 - double and there's still 10 minutes+ to go.

He's been great all game. No idea what some folk are on about.

He's never losing his place in a million years.

Yeah don’t forget he was in the team of the year😁

Plus Tutu looked better on the left anyway.

Well, yes that's what I was thinking.

It is strange though, how so many don't seem able to put crosses in consistently.

He looks way better on the left than Schon .....

Could have had 5 or 6 with Arfield on a hatrick!

Despite the alarms and ignorance from many at the beginning, this side, more than any this season, looks more like round pegs in round holes.

More of the same with a few goals please.

I'll own that 😀

Nobody looked out of position, and all 3 midfielders were outstanding, other than arguably their finishing.

I'd still rather have full backs and actual wingers to do the crossing but that's not a discussion for tonight.

Tomo as close to a 9 out of 10 performance as I've seen for a while, absolute joy to watch.  Matete needs to be a starter, and so does Dempsey on the form I've seen from him this season not to mention Wembley.

A very enjoyable and entertaining performance.

Played a lot better but think that was always going to be the case against these. If anyone finishes below Shrewsbury in the league this season they should be ashamed of themselves. Need to back this up with 3 points on Saturday.

Only listened to the commentary... sounds like Thomason had a good un?

Excellent performance. Dempsey to start on Saturday please.

Happy that Sonny Sharples-Ahmed got some time, nice to see an ex pupil in a white shirt :)

He was excellent tonight. Much much improved from Saturday.

Is the draw tomorrow night?

Very comfortable win, but if you want to make some money, get on Shrewsbury for relegation. They are seriously poor. Some good performances never the less, Dempsey as got to be in the staring line up.

Good performance. Totally dominant. Hope for a money spinning home game next.

Happy with that. Thomasson best player on the pitch. When he's playing those kind of progressive balls he's such a good player.

All about the three points at the weekend but I'm confident we will get those. Need to keep moving the ball quicky and taking advantage of any overloads.

Exeter will sit deep and play on break . Let's not play at a fucking snails pace and make it easy for them.

Schon's defensive work is excellent but his instinct is to win the ball and pass it back whereas Tutu wants to get forward. Schon can cross better but because of his defensive approach he doesn't get many opportunities to do it.

Basically he plays like an old school LB - and unless we go 4 at the back - which we won't, who needs one of those these days?

Let's hope so.  I think IE would trade it for winning the next couple of home games though.

100%, like impressively bad.

Played well first half Saturday.  IE always talks about the team picking itself, well the midfield picks itself if we're basing it on performances.  Tomo, Matete, Dempsey until further notice please.

Nice one, Whites. Hopefully give us a kick up the arse now.

Fully expecting to get Brighton away or something tomorrow.

Away at United, Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal would bring in about 5 times what we'd get here (very rough estimate obviously).

That is about how i see Schon, tidy and a decent tackler but he has not got that turn of foot or willing to take his man on like Desmond.
