What’s up with people we are playing Arsenal ffs we have done ok had a couple of chances ok made mistakes but we make mistakes every game just got punished by a top side !

Never known anything like it.

We've done OK and should've scored 2 and got a penalty.

They have about £200m worth of talent on the pitch.

Decent enough game. Couple of good chances and a penalty shout for us.

Bit disappointing the goals we've given away. The first should have been cleared and the second we were caught ball watching.

Overall not too bad imo.

Spot on this.

Hopefully, a decent showing against far superior opposition will continue to build confidence in the team to take forward.

I wonder why he's not as good as he was when he played at "the highest level"? 🤔

Hes played over 600 league games, so should have enough experience to cut that out. Like a said very poor no excuses, you cant disagree, but im sure you will want to!

He’s quite miserly with the Blue Stratos I believe.

Wouldn't you be?

Last week he took in that Hi Karate soap on a rope that his sister got him at Christmas, Evatt had to confiscate it incase it caused any female staff members to act all unnecessary in the platinum suite.

So Arsenal got drawn out to play at home and 4 hours later we came out of the hat to play them.....i ok a fair draw

No

They did a draw to determine how many teams in Europe played at home and away

It came out as 4 at home and 2 away

It could've come out any combination of six

3 home, 3 away

6 away

4 away, 2 home

6 home

Etc

Then they had a separate pot for those six teams to ensure they didn't face each other

The actual draw was random and at the same time

Yup -  it not too bad bar a couple of missed chances and defensive errors. Going to form although we always hope we’ll raise our game against top sides. Hopefully we can show a bit more and cut out the errors second half.

Moments innit.

Should have had a pen at one end, goes down the other and they score.

Great chance for McAtee goes over, and a couple of minutes later they're two up.

Not much to complain about performance wise, and if we're slagging our own off for making mistakes tonight it's a poor do.

Every single goal that is scored comes from a mistake.

Why the fuck are we over analysing a fella miss kicking the ball I'll never know.

Of course it's poor. Bloody frustrating too.

Professionals probably shouldn't do it, but occasionally they do. We've all seen the occasional air shot etc, by players in their prime.

Shit happens, unfortunately it was by one of ours tonight.

Prefer it now, than Saturday! :)

A 35-year-old who's a squad player in League One...

I'd hope a league one player is capable of not missing his kick on a football. Doesn't seem too much to ask

I agree it was a bad mistake. These things happen. Most of us don't make them right in front of a £100M superstar who's 10 years younger than us.

Just out of interest, if Santos picks up the ball in our penalty area, signs it and in doing so gives a penalty away, are we allowed to criticise that?

I’m just trying to figure out the scale of individual mistake which we are allowed to comment on. Or is absolutely everything a freebie because we’re playing Arsenal, because if it is then we may as well pack up and go home and tell the 4.5k that have paid to go down there that they wasted their money because we’re playing Arsenal.

I'd hope I wouldnt- even at 55 and over weight.

Doesn't mean it can't happen to anyone.

Momentary misjudgement or whatever, players can't train out the very seldom unexplained fuck up.
