I remember folk on here saying Derby were shite etc. So early in the season.

I said at the time I fancied them to grab a spot, as I felt they were moulding a team.

Tbf we came out all guns blazing v Wrexham. Looked class for 20 v Chartlon.

Enjoyable game. Competed for every ball and no pulling out of challenges. Johnston and Thomason had excellent games. Thought Vic had his best game for us.

Didn’t see him walk down the tunnel, but IE had his arm round him and was talking to him at the end, looks a shadow of himself. A few games out of the team may do him good.
