Most managers do though.

There was no one worse than Fergie.

He was a bell end after a loss, but at least he didn't do the football jargon Evatt comes out with when he thinks he's making himself sound clever

If I met him in the street I'd roll my socks down, mince about a bit and ask for a contract.

  • Just seen this comment on twatter that i agree with...   After the play off Final surrender he talked about mental fragility and said he needed to sort it. Nine signings & 24 games later

I must have dreamt it when he kicked a football boot into Beckhams face in the changing room, then sold him to Real Madrid without telling him.

Or when he said his players couldn't see each other because of the colour of their shirts. 🤣

When Man U lost he very rarely gave the opposition any credit.

None of that is relevant to what I posted whatsoever.

Like him or loathe him, his approach to his team was very different to IE's.

Perhaps it’s just me that ħated Fergie then 😂

Doesn't matter what you think of him personally.

Can still put it to one side and admire what he did.

I'd love us to have our own cunt with that level of success.

With hatred 100 and admiration 0

Is anyone else still waiting for tickets to be posted out for this?  I'm assuming the ticket office can email Rotherham to sort but I've never had them not arrive before.

Apparently they've told folks who haven't got them to pick them up at the Rotherham ticket office.

I'd call them in the morning to confirm it, though.

Cheers, I'll call them first thing.  The batch they released today are all collection from the away ticket office so makes sense

Gonna be bleeding cold tomorrow !

Anyone know what time the travel coaches leave, try to leave just before they do as a good guide.

have they got a teenager or ben journo writing this stuff?

Seems reasonable enough. Nowt wrong with keeping folk informed.

Totally unnecessary to tell folk to wear appropriate clothing though.

That has no bearing on whether the game can go ahead.

I’d assume they don’t want people snapping body parts or dying😂

I think you are being unfair on him.

When we won at Old Trafford in those first two seasons in the Premier League he gave us credit for our performances.

He attended Nat's funeral, showing respect to a football legend and the town of Bolton (some folk on here slagged him off for that).

He wrote the foreward to Big Sam's book and spoke about him in the highest esteem (I know they were mates).

I think he's a top bloke, just because he managed Man Utd. doesn't mean you have to hate him, we should never hate anybody, why have anger inside you, it doesn't do you or anybody else any good.

Have a lovely weekend

Absolutely.

Folk don't need to be told though. A bit sad that someone feels that adults need to be told to wear appropriate clothing when going to a match in freezing weather.

If it is so bad underfoot that falls are likely irrespective, then it won't go ahead.

You're correct.

Must admit though, that during his time his rants at refs and interviewers really pissed plenty of us off!

He seemed to get away with stuff- fergie time for example- that got fans riled.

Not sure about close parking to the ground itself but one option is park at Meadowhall and then jump on the tramtrain or train, it's only 5 mins and is free parking at Meadohall.  Might be easier getting away.

Maybe Rotherham are thinking of introducing PPE as minimum dress code for attending matches in winter, like when you go to site at some workplaces.  If you turn up without the right clothes/boots/hats/gloves/scarves you have to purchase them in the club shop, at competitive prices.
