freds dad Posted January 10 Posted January 10 We might have beaten them tomorrow if they’d had to play Wycombe at the same time. Quote

Whitesince63 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Plenty of safe on street parking, especially near the old ground opposite the New York and over the dual carriageway. There’s also a big Tesco 10 minutes walk to the ground plus Drummond street Car Park opposite it but you only get 3 hours at Tesco. You don’t need to go to Meadowhall you can park at Parkgate Retail then loads of buses 5 minutes into the centre. There is a car park near the ground as Ani says but it gets full pretty quick. I’ll be parking at Tesco but not until around ten to quarter past twelve which gives me plenty time after the game to get back within the 3 hours limit. Good luck and let’s hope we get the 3 points? 😀 Quote

Loads of parking nearby, but the closer you park, the longer it takes to get away. I've parked near Millmoor the last couple of times. Just before you hit the dual carriageway, there's a petrol station on the right, go down there or the next right. Free parking and easy to get away. Quote

A bit sad that someone feels that adults need to be told to wear appropriate clothing when going to a match in freezing weather. If it is so bad underfoot that falls are likely irrespective, then it won't go ahead. can tell you don't know our fan base they'll be someone there in shorts t-shirt and flip flops tomorrow Edited January 10 by L/H White Quote

I’ve a mate who’s a Rotherham fan and he thinks it will be our first win since 1966. I hope so Edited January 10 by tomski Quote

batton carrier Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Just now, tomski said: Is this the Rotherham v Wycombe game that’s still classed as a fixture Not sure . If you click on our fixture and then click on live text . "It says game postponed to play at a later date" Probably an error Quote

Whitesince63 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 According to people close to the club I spoke to late this afternoon there’s no chance of it being off unless there’s a serious change in the weather or the pitch cover fails, both of which are highly unlikely. It’s cold here but no rain or snow forecast to worsen things. Quote

Eddie Posted January 11 Posted January 11 I think we’ll lose, mainly because it’s Rotherham and we just do. But I’d love to be wrong and if we play the team below I think it would give us our best chance. Baxter Williams Toal Santos Johnston Schon Morley Matete Randall Collins Charles Forrester in for Toal if he’s not fit. There’s no chance that he’s dropping GT but he’s in such poor form, and Morley (albeit at another club) and Matete are 2 of our players in some kind of form, that it would be criminal for either of them to be on the bench at his expense at the moment.
