I take your point. But a week since Exeter. Squad rotation in EFL cup, should be more than fine. And if this much warranted run ever materialised, now has to be the time on the back of a win with confidence.

Much better for fans too on a Saturday after already being rearranged twice.

Get it played.

You forgot to add - Saturdays outside of summer are for football (even if its an early KO), and we have to endure enough blank weekends.

cardiff cup, or was that waterlogged

That was the suspicious one at the time. It was just one corner of the pitch waterlogged, West stand by the South. I'd travelled from Pembrokeshire where I was living, a bit further than the Cardiff fans and I bumped into a fair few outside.

Well if they can keep the pitch playable there should be no problem with the game being on. I was at the New York today picking up my tickets for the family stand and all the areas and car parks around the stadium are clear of snow and likewise the walkways and pavements into the town centre. The forecast isn’t great up to weekend but we’re not tipped to have any more snow over here so all being well we should be ok. 😉

Well let’s hope the game is on this weekend and we put that right? Beautiful sunny day here but only just above freezing so I hope that covers working. Fair play to the Millers they’re doing everything they can to make it happen and one suspects that if there were any concerns over access given the weather forecast it would have been called off now or certainly put in serious doubt.

I'll start this by saying I don't think Evatt will take us up and I'd be chuffed if we'd potted him.

BUT in interviews like this he talks really well, and I can - kind of - understand why Sharon still backs him.

It's after a defeat he sounds a Muppet. Let's the pressure get to him and spouts all sorts of nonsense

Most managers do though.

There was no one worse than Fergie.

Ferries never slagged off his players, nor threw them under a bus.

Would deflect criticism elsewhere, even at interviewers.

Clearly angry and frustrated, and passionate too.

I must have dreamt it when he kicked a football boot into Beckhams face in the changing room, then sold him to Real Madrid without telling him.

Or when he said his players couldn't see each other because of the colour of their shirts. 🤣

When Man U lost he very rarely gave the opposition any credit.

So, he deflected from his players by blaming the shirts. Good man-management.

Don’t have a problem with a Bolton manager having that attitude, either.
