The best interview from a manager ever, and probably the most un-manager like interview ever! Can see why he coaches the u18s, and is doing so well at it. Pure joy; back to the days of ding

  • Fucking brilliant! Plenty of shithousery, no fucking about at the back, defenders knocking Charles about like a ragdoll. Superb gritty team performance. Absolutely made up, especially for Julian Darby

  • Good man Julian Darby. Late on his career with us he had some rough times with the fans but even then he scored a couple of really crucial goals when Bruce got us promoted. This is a properly deserved

Oh. I think we’ll lose by 3 or 4 on Saturday too. So it’s all irrelevant anyway.

Huddersfield will effectively ‘declare’ after 60 mins when game is won. And Dion will almost certainly score.

Hope not.

Weight is off their shoulders, and I'm hoping for a more up and at them display.

Underdogs no doubt, but a heavy defeat will be a bit of a shitter for the new man.

Do the teams these three run also usually play 5 at the back ? It is a DNA thing ? 🫨

Hopefully everyone can treat it as a ‘Freehit’ and play with a lot less pressure on.

Although Huddersfield at 19/20 are a great bet, but really do not want to start a gambling thread.

I hope not too. And perhaps some freedom will help the players.

Just think the old problems will persist for a while. I’m sure the new chaps will tinker a little bit, but hard to polish a turd in two training sessions.

Anyone any idea why Matete isn’t getting a retrospective ban? Clearly a 3 game job. Or does it not happen in league one?

My hope entirely.

Crowd will give them proper backing, and so long as the commitment is there, then it will likely remain throughout.

As was shown last year, we have players capable of competing at the top of this league- they just need a refresh, a kick up the posterior, and a sense of belief in themselves and the methods.

I think he was booked for it and so no further action can be taken

Yes it does seem to happen.

Remember Dion getting sent off when it was Kachunga?

The cock up was rectified afterwards, and Elias given the ban.

Presumably that means he could cop for a ban?

Ah, now that makes sense.

Get him in then, and leave one on Charles! 😅

Cheers. Must have missed that in my apathy. Lucky boy. Bit of a shocker really.

the thing for me, is will he celebrate if he does?

If I’m honest, I hope he does. Can’t stand it when players refuse to celebrate against old teams

Im sure he won’t come and wave the wanker sign at us but no problem with him celebrating.

Fckg right he will.

I would rather he did not score. 😁😎👍

Thought it would embarrassing if we approached this as though we're a lower league side on a cup run (which is what we did at Wycombe).

But I've got a bit more sympathy in the circumstances. I expect a battling 1-0 defeat.

Hahaha

Or he'll run over and cup his ears to Sharon & Toby

Anyway, let's have it right, the lad is scumbag

Let's hope Thomasson leaves a career ender on him

Is he a scumbag though?

I thought the rumours about the local lass and a kid were a different fella named Dion that was from the area?

4/1 first goal or 6/4 anytime. Free money.

Seems not.

A decent striker in every sense.

Weather is already awful, really not safe to travel !

Well I don’t, these lot are average at best and I can’t understand why so many just think it will be a walkover for them. If we turn up we’re better than they are and I genuinely believe, like Evatt or not, a huge weight will have been lifted off the players shoulders and they’ll be going out all guns blazing to prove themselves. More to the point their recent home record is nothing brilliant either so no reason we can’t go and keep it that way.

Are you available for the pre-match and half time team talk?

reading that post, im doubtful hes allowed out

I reckon we've more of a chance now that Evatt has gone. Purely from the possible bounce.
