There were Evatt out chants as soon as they scored the opener in crazy corner

I see we're persisting with all 11 back on free kicks and corners and yet leaving 2 or 3 unmarked on the edge of our box.

It’s not like it’s fucked us yet this season, oh wait

Headbutting opposition players, telling fans to fuck off, gambling problems, no loyalty to wife problems, outcoached most weeks problems, sending videos of his feebley misshaped widgey out n about, and a severe God complex?

Most other managers are able to.toe the line. Guy is a complete lemon.

If all that had been included in the Mike Bassett film it would have been dismissed as too far fetched.

The only far fetched bit is us ever starting a game playing 4 4 fuckin 2

Were the chants continual from start to finish?

I'm curious as to what is considered acceptable in terms of "protest".

Waiting until after the final whistle when all the playing staff have left the pitch and the directors gone in from the cold, seems a bit anaemic.

Overall, I think IE has had a relatively easy ride, but hasn't helped himself of late.

Nor towards the end of last season.

He'll be headbutting fans next!

They scored early doors so that didn’t help the atmosphere, the negativity was already in the air, however overall thought the crowd were relatively patient.

Ta.

Understandable then.

It's consistently drab, tedious, uninspiring, laughable- insert whatever descriptor- and in the end fans will vent their frustrations.

We are 9th, and if Mansfield get a point from their game in hand we're 10th, with virtually everyone around us having played 25.  10th is where we deserve to be currently, and our points total flatters us with those 3 games against 10 men and a couple of 95th minute winners.

Not sure how anyone is spinning this that we just have to win a game to be on track for the play offs!

Because we do?

Good.

That suggests that overall our fans weren't as bad as was suggested.

Certainly non worse than the manager has been over recent months with his bizarre comments.

Thanks to Evatts savvy substitutions and management managed to salvage a point.

Evatt in !

Against Cambridge's ultras as well. Excellent point in the end versus 23rd in the table at home.

And then better all others around us to stay there.

Just not going to happen whilst things are as they are.

I've got a blue bowl- I like to use for certain meals- it holds a nice amount.

Sadly it has got a crack in it.

It will not revert to being solid again, and will either start leaking, or suddenly fail dramatically.

Either way, I know I'm going to have to get shut. :)

Since Sharon "unfavourable results" statement, just a month ago, we have lost 3 and drawn 2. What's slightly worse than unfavourable. How much more?

The fact that we're still close ought to be seen as an opportunity to take a gamble, and try a new approach.

The common thinking is that they won't change whilst we're in with a chance, but for me that's increasingly unlikely whilst he is here.

Make the change NOW.

Yes, the logical approach would be to make a change while we still have a "chance", not once its gone.  We know we are mid table mediocrity with IE in charge, and that we won't even get the enjoyment of winning a biggish game.   But no, they seem determined to leave it until its too late and the whole situation is irretrievable and even more toxic.

To be fair he must be really struggling mentally at the moment so right or wrong you can maybe understand a reaction but it still doesn’t make it acceptable.

If I came to where you worked and called you a cunt because you were using the wrong type of sweeping brush, would you just walk away?

Won 3, drawn 2, lost 3.

He’s here for the season

It’s shite at the minute.

But the fact is we still have a shot at the playoffs.

People act like a toxic atmosphere is being created by forces beyond their control, when they’re the ones creating it.

Maybe just get behind the talentless cunts for a few games and see if that helps?

Mansfield could pass us if they win their game in hand on us but yes, the shitness of the league means however much we implode we can't drop far off the pace, at least for the last play off spot.

We've been gifted a point today though and were gifted three at Exeter. We'd be 13th without those and looking at 4 losses on trot.

We haven't put in a convincing performance in any of our last 10 games, oddly the one at Wycombe was about the best, a decent draw no-one expected

We defended well at Wycombe, every other aspect of our play other than the first 5 minutes (Collins) was absolute bobbins and more evidence of our decline, IMO.  And since then we've dropped our best 2 players from that game, Forrester and Matete.

I still want Evatt to succeed, sadly I think that’s unlikely now. However he’s been his own worst enemy…. A modicum of pragmatisim from Evatt and the outlook would be so much better.

I was referencing just the "unfavourable"results in the month.

I was about to write about that second goal we conceded and the problems in our team that caused it, but it feels pointless. We all know it’s fucked and it’s not just that goal, it’s fundamentally broken and you could pick apart almost all of the match for one reason or another.

I laughed when they scored and I didn’t jump up and celebrate when we did. That’s not me trying to prove a point, it was just my natural reaction which I think is really telling.

Apathy is a killer. I very nearly found a reason not to go today but even when I was there I couldn’t really be arsed with it, I was more interested in just how shit we could actually get.

He’s got to go, surely. I want the excitement back and it can be salvaged this season. We’re 3 points outside the play offs - if on Monday we sacked him then all of a sudden I’d be bang up for making a fight of it for the rest of the season (sheer hope from a change), whereas if he stays we may as well be 23 points away from them as I just have zero belief that we can go up with him in charge.

It wasn't deliberate, I wasn't making a point, but that is the first time we've ever scored a significant goal (equaliser, taking the lead etc) and I haven't so much as clapped or stood up.

Just sat there observing.  If we'd scored a winner I would have cheered and enjoyed the moment, the 2-2 draw just felt like a total irrelevance.  As you say, apathy.

Some fucking use you lot would have been in the trenches.

They have had the support all season and we’re has it got us ?

the fans got behind them against Wigan and they still folded may be a bit of tough love is needed to wake them up . The manager himself was calling the players out only the other week saying some are just happy to play for Bolton and turn up

I didn't realise for about an hour that Kachunga was even playing let alone he scored

Kachunga has scored more goals away at top 9 teams in the last 5 weeks (us and Wrexham) than our entire team all season (and our 1 goal was a meaningless one when 3 down).

Good luck in the trenches with a Bolton eleven try getting those lot over the top 😂

No, but equally the sentiment right at the end was pretty clear

The idea this in anyway is the fans fault is pretty out there.
