Clapped the players off at the end including Kachubga who clapped our fans, no malice there for him, clearly IE didn't use him properly.

I think the poor tactics even hid how shocking that ref was. Collins getting a card being one example

Oh and I didn’t celebrate either goal.

it was like Chinese water torture

players were flat, team were flat - just a flat day out

Just before we scored our first I was that bored I went for a walk to see the ESL Social Club. Heard our goal but did not realise they had scored till I was going back up.

Second half stayed till the end, was amazed how many people were clapping the players off.  My Cambridge mate was not there today but I talked him though how much our squad had cost he was amazed. In last 2 games Kerchunga and Ethan Hamilton have both done more than our shambles. The idea that a new manager could not improve us is IMO bollocks.

Firstly make us hard to play against , this means simply an extra man in midfield. But simply changing the manager will get rid of the ‘dark cloud’ that has been hanging over us, it might not last but we are drowning at the moment.

I’m usually one for a lot of words (they’ll probably come tomorrow 😩)

But it’s just shit isn’t it? Really really shit….. when we all know it should be a lot better 🙁

Would you rather have Nathan Delfouneso or Clayton Donaldson?

This is a good game

Marcus Maddison v Mario Jardel

Two blokes sitting near me cleared off for a slash and a pint, came back after ht and thought it was still 0 - 1

I did mean when they were playing for us! Not prime Jardel 😂

I'm not qualified to answer that one. Slightly before my time.

I know but Maddison could only dream of scoring at Anfield.

Pound for pound the Jardel we got must be in the medals.

I watched every one of Moores home games in 82-83, not great of course, but no way was he anywhere near as bad as Vic.  Not saying he was any good, but he was stronger, faster, could head a ball, had a better shot and could lead the line.

And scored over 50 goals in the top 2 divs, he wasn't a L1 striker (at best) like Vic.  Scored for Spurs in a win at Man U, got a hat-trick for Spurs in that game when Colin Lee scored 4 and they won 9-0!  Not even a debate.

Simon Rudge had his moments (scored v Leeds in Div 2) but in reality wasn't a football league standard player, if it was now he wouldn't have played at all in the league, not a realistic comparison any more than Alex Smidzah or Faal, we're hardly going to count them as our worst ever strikers.

So he played for us and by your own words was shite but I can't count him??....... Alreet lad you win.

Felt kind of unifying in the stand yesterday.

Stood with mates I've known 20+ years, my Dad and Peteski, my son and folk I've been sat with for decades, we've all hugged and kissed at some point.

All still there, all turning out. Thick and thin and all that. Seen all the highs together and now stood there totally beleaguered, pissed off, freezing, watching a manager cling for his life in a silent stadium with players no longer responding to him.

Just made me realise, we've all been there long before Ian Evatt and this current cluster fuck, and we will all be there long after.

There's no point getting angry. Just stay on the ride and hope for sunnier times.

It’s all just a bit sad really , the players look lost, the coach doesn’t know how to fix it. I guess nothing is going to change till at least may. All we can do as fans is be there for the team.

Could all now wind down to one of those mid-table seasons where you are stuck in that limbo zone, not going up, not going down. Games of pass the fiver helps keep it interesting... we pass a five or ten pound note around every time there is a throw in or corner

Course we have, it's been a proper tale of ups and downs over my 50 years +, seen plenty of good times and plenty worse than this little spell. It all gets polarised and magnified on the socials these days, as everything does.

Just because kacha scored doesn't make him good lol. He's playing for second bottom of the league and scores every 9 games .

I was just chipping with my observation yesterday

As said already, I didn't realise he scored and was playing till about 60 minutes
