Lots of people comparing him to Phil Neal, I don't see it, Evatt is more like Freedman for me, a philosophical outlier refusing to accept reality.  Remember Freedman persisting with Beckford on his own up top week after week cos he read it in a book or summat.  Evatt has the same level of blind faith in his 'project'.
