itdiddidit? Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I'd take Parky this season over what we've suffered all day long he's doing what it says on his tin, Ronny Seal style He had no money at our place and had limited options available to him. He's not bought the division this year to my knowledge and is sat in a good position to make it 3 out of 3. Was chatting with a Burnley fan few weeks ago on a course he was moaning that it wasn't the same style of football they had under Company. Seemed ridiculous to me looking at their league position then and more so now after they tatered Argyle the other night. We'll never all be happy at the same time, there's always a whinge to be had with any managers style. Quote

So which one are you 'laying' on? Be a bit daft if you knew a way to make easy money and didn't bother taking it. Quote

We were actually quite entertaining in League One, especially with Morais getting balls in the box. We did it in league one as well Quote
superkev Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Don’t get me wrong. I like the wins but want it in style too. Not too much to ask for 🤣 Quote

I do not have any online gambling accounts. I have a rather complicated history with gambling so it does not work out well for me ! The point is the odds on these markets are stupidly volatile, as shown by some of the later posts on this thread. Earlier today Schumacher was 4/6 so you you could have layed him for £40 and won £60 if he did not get the job. You can now back him at about 5/4 so if you laid him this morning you can back him at better odds than you laid him for. As we are a League 1 club the market is obviously a lot more limited than if say Newcastle are looking and I have used the first odds I looked at rather than exchanges. I think it was Garp who first pointed this out on here, not sure if you hear when he was making his millions gambling. Quote

So you were talking shite then when you claimed it's "the only market where you can make a good regular profit". It's no different to any other betting market. Quote

It's no different to any other betting market. I did not say you always win but you make a ‘good regular profit’ when these markets are available. For a club like us the market in terms of being able to ‘lay’ might not be available so obviously you can not make money then. Not sure why that equates to ‘talking shite’ , others have posted their experience of making money doing this which obviously does not ‘prove’ it works. Out of interest I put next manager odds into Google and as well as ours (because I searched earlier) 3 historic links came up, Potter next England 11/4 fav, Mourhinio 8/11 to be Everton manager and RVN 1/2 to be next United manager. So every example you would have won. I have not just selected those that suited me. https://talksport.com/football/2458161/jose-mourinho-favourite-everton-manager-sean-dyche-sacked/amp/ https://www.racingpost.com/sport/football-tips/international-football/next-england-manager-latest-betting-odds-tips-and-analysis-aSuuf9x3VWG9/ https://www.mirror.co.uk/betting/football/next-man-united-manager-odds-33894689 Quote

If someone claims they have enough knowledge to make money on a betting market, surely it's fair enough to ask what bet they're placing? If they can't answer, they are most likely talking shite. Get a new mon in and settled and we’ll piss it 😂 Wrexham are average if they aren't actually scoring - unlikely to dominate and look good. But then they get a corner and head it in the net because they are just bigger and stronger, or hit a shot from the edge of the box that finds its way in. Just good at what directly impacts on scorelines, rather than all the stuff that goes on in between the boxes. Fletcher has been a cracking signing for them. Quote
