  • Do none of you negative-heads ever feel daft after calling all our players absolute shite, and writing us off before half a game has been played? I'd feel embarrassed if I were you, but you do it over

Saw the message saying they were going on sale.  Thought it would be Thursday but was surprised this morning when I looked again.

Think a few might not be aware.

A very decent away day.

If anyone finds themselves with a spare for this please let me know.

It's semi-local I'd love to see it.

Plenty of quick, cheap trains and about a bzillion pubs in the centre and on the walk to the ground.

Never been to the new ground, but, as you say, the day was a good un previously.

Pleasant pubs, and the pies back then we the best I'd ever had at a football ground.

It's a lovely town for pre/post match. Only need to avoid the locals carrying shotguns or hay-forks.

The ground itself is a good 20m from the centre & lost the character of Gay Meadow and it's a bit of a Subbuteo construction.

Fair play, it says 2 miles from the station. So a bit less from the town centre. It seems less.

Walk briskly.
