Some of them here think it IS Wales. I keep telling them it's not.

The countryside is pure Cheshire, the town centre is good, rammed with pubs & restaurants. Test a local by if they say Shrew, or Shrow. That sorts the Welshish from the Englishish.

Got stuff on Friday and Sunday that makes an all day session tough so probably driving.

Any suggestions on parking ?

About 5 quid...parked there WC semi day

Before the ground, poss the last right turn theres a small run of shops opp a pub

We parked there promotion season

We parked at a garage just before the bridge you walk over to get to the ground

Hereford Rd, Meole Brace, Shrewsbury SY3 7RE

from the below football ground guide

Otherwise, there is a car park at the Meole Brace Bowling Club, which also offers parking at £3 per car and has a bar on site too. It can be found at Meole Rise (Off Upper Road, SY3 9JF).

Last few timers I've driven and parked on the hosing estate a short walk from the ground on the left of the pic below...

Hereford Road etc.

do NOT go on the park & ride, you'll not get off for hours.

Just a warning. The shopping area you see next to the ground, like many, has limited parking to 90 minutes on match days & has 'Parking Eye' so you WILL get clocked.

You can however pay for parking on JustPark/Your Parking Space which is only a couple of quid, we did it for the cup game this season (and doing similar at Wrexham)

Cheers for replies , if early enough will head for the bowling club.

New to me that. Nice ine.

It looks like for £4 you can use the Sainsbury's parking area on that shopping park !

Yeah that’s the one. Similarly we’re using Sainsbury’s at Wrexham too (and come to think of it we did the same at Northampton)

Yeah, I've used those myself in the past at Derby, Sheff Weds, Mansfield etc

We're heading for the town centre and then a 20 minute walk up on saturday.  £3.89 all day on Asda near the Abbey.

Use Your Parking Space regularly if going by car and generally head for a supermarket if there is one, Huddersfield, Barnsley, Port Vale, Derby, Walsall all recent ones.

Hopefully a strong positive display with a tight defence and a winning goal from somewhere.

Back to business. Need a win down here.

Where actually is Santos?

He’s busy learning a new role.

In his pubic region.

Could Santos play up front??

I'm not having it that there is not one other person with professional footballer in their job title , at this football club that couldn't do a better job as a striker than Victor Abracadabra.

I can just picture it. Schon gets behind the defence and pulls the ball across to Santos, who’s free on the penalty spot. Santos puts his foot on the ball, has a look round, and a defender nips in and clears the danger!
