Great stuff - Justin Moorhouse (who commented on my Jay Jay t shirt!), Jo Caulfield, A submariners tale and Shannon Matthews the musical (now on film and Amazon Prime) - very wrong yet very very funny. The worst couple was a French woman called Clown Fish. Bizarre and not remotely amusing and some camp Alan Bennett type. That were a couple of hours i won't get back. We got back today after 4 nights. Didn’t realise how busy it would be but we saw 18 shows in total. Some real good stuff like MC Hammersmith, Paul Merton and a wine tasting thing with 2 Aussie comedians. We also watched the tattoo which I enjoyed surprisingly. Walked what seemed like a million miles but ate some great food and found some cracking bars. Quote

frank_spencer Posted October 14, 2025 Posted October 14, 2025 Not theatre but just been to Marina Abromivic's Balkan Erotic Epic at factory. Tits, fanny and cocks everywhere, arty and weird as fuck TBF. Quote
MancWanderer Posted November 8, 2025 Posted November 8, 2025 Just back from Fawlty Towers The Play at The Opera House Marvellous Not high-brow in the slightest way at all. Just very funny entertainment and a very good interpretation of it, weaving in all the classic scenes and lines Next up ‘The Jury Experience’ later this month I really do enjoy ‘live’ performances, be it football, music or theatre Quote

freds dad Posted November 15, 2025 Posted November 15, 2025 We saw Christmas Carol Goes Wrong at The Lowry last weekend. Very funny like all the Mischief productions and worth seeing if you can. Quote
fatolive Posted November 22, 2025 Posted November 22, 2025 Saw Blood Brothers at The Lowry last night. Very good, really enjoyed it. Quote
Not in Crawley Posted January 9 Posted January 9 If anyone finds themselves in London in the next couple of weeks. Ive got a show at The Aldwych called Gerry and Sewell - its a great show about football, friendship and a couple of working class lads from Newcastle trying to get season tickets to NUFC. Its a great show, Northern to its core and if you want tickets let me know. Quote
Not in Crawley Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Tomorrow Jamie the director/writer is on Talk Sport - around 2pm. For those who listen to the station he's a good bloke who has done an amazing job to get this show into the west end. Worth yoir time. Quote
MancWanderer Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Did Single White Female at The Opera House this afternoon. Great twist on the classic 90s film. Kym Marsh superb as the psycho. Nod to the stuff that @Not in Crawley would be interested in - the production was amazing - the lighting/effects/music properly made it very, very good. Thoroughly enjoyable Quote
