A few available on the small row where I am, top of West Upper, great view, folk are pretty measured.

Not sure where you sit but that’s nothing like the experience I’ve had at the game this year. Get to the front of the WSU. Admittedly not the best atmosphere but it’s a great view of the game and most are pretty level headed around us. Definitely no screaming abuse and I’ve yet to see a baseball bat!

My 15 year old son has never been abused either. Where are you sitting? Surely you’ve reported it to the club if that’s happened to you at the ground?

Watched a documentary about some police officers policing football, and even they have noticed it. Bellendery gone up hugely. The tickets keep selling though.

NSL can be a bit rough & ready, & like everywhere else you'll get the odd " geddit forward" gobbin, but i've never seen or heard it getting anywhere close to punches flying, it's mostly good humoured.... but, away matches , especially reasonably close ones , are becoming a problem with the certainty that a goal conceded will set some loudmouths off screaming abuse, booing & scapegoating players with every chance of a reaction from supporters, & off we go again with the infighting. I've stopped going to Wiggin, not so much because of over excited yoofs but older blokes gobbing off stupidly, & just last week at Barnsley, apart from the horrors of the game, it was a really unpleasant atmosphere on the edge of kicking off properly.

There's often a shout of SWITCH IT! when Sheehan/tomo/Morley is middle of the pitch surrounded by opposition players
