Don’t be starting points system for tickets chat. We all know it’s not needed because those with back door contacts don’t think it is a problem. I mean why would Bolton need something every other club in the country has.

Even Wigan have introduced a points system

I came to the conclusion that away STs make the club money and points systems don't and that's why we do it

But both could be done. As is implemented at many many clubs

It’s one of those where the points system would have acted a a perfect scorer for your Blackpool away tickets. Instead we’ll be scrapping around with 16.5k others

You won't to be fair, I wouldn't have tickets given me for that one.  I'm looking forward to Barnsley and some other aways like Vale or Huddersfield but Blackpool doesn't tick any boxes of what I'd enjoy from an away game.

I used to love going there when we were on that big terrace and took thousands.  Great atmosphere, nothing like that with the small allocation and faux hatred to go with it.

Time for more sales yet.

Also a cup game and holidays that will.put pressure on sales.

Holidays work both ways - kids off, a bit bored, more likely to go to games for something to fill the weeks.  And nicer weather, it beats going in deepest winter.  I don't think we'd be taking more in November.

I'm guessing there'll be 4k going by Saturday.

Still only a certain amount of money to go round.

Particularly at holiday time.

With 3 games in 8 days.

No doubt there will be more sales.

Whatever the numbers actually are, it doesn't matter.

Son wants to go, but going to Center Parcs the week after so that £200 quid away day will be put to good use in CP instead (and might get me 30 minutes of archery and a pint 😕 )

As someone said.. "Barnsley'd out" sums it up for me

I’m not going Saturday purely due to something had to give. We were away for nearly 3 weeks and go away again bank holiday. Sadly a trip to Barnsley isn’t enough to push the spending.

You’re all shit fans. I’m not going either

seems I'm going IF we don't get Blackpool tickets

Looking at the seat map, you might not want to leave it that long

Unless they have taken some off sale

Stockport being shut doesnt affect anyone going from Bolton area though -

It does, bolton to Manchester, then the fast train to Sheffield, then to Barnsley. This goes thro Stockport.

can do the slow train from Manchester to Sheffield, but it takes 45 mins longer.

I suspect the upper section is 3k and that what’s almost sold out (one more block after the current one). They’ll open the remaining 2k if they need to. Plenty of tickets left.

I would normally be in, but I’m in Cornwall with the family instead.

It’s 2 hours 2 mins avoiding Stockport   Don’t think it’s any quicker going through Stockport ?

We have sold the top/back blocks first, looks like these have mainly gone and bottom blocks will be opened as needed.

Be interesting once Blackpool sells out in 1 minute if people who miss out jump on this instead.

Shirley we are taking 3500 for this.  Poor do if we don't.   Folk moan we don't get enough tickets most weeks and then we struggle to sell this.

Backwards and sideways has gone , sharman-lowe should have a field day pinging them passes to duberry and gayle on this pitch .

Our crowds are fantastic (don’t think 3k is all that bad anyway), but I wonder how good they could be if all of a sudden you couldn’t watch live on TV.

I know I’d have done a lot more aways in recent years if it wasn’t for the Firestick.

By the slow train I guess that’s the one that stops here, there and everywhere, but looks like the one that usually stops at Stockport has been re-routed as there aren’t any stops being Piccadilly and Sheffield so not much time difference to usual.
