acdc/acid mom . TSL we need to bottle his kicking , good game for GJ , Burstow really important,  & another good performance for Conway , like a new signing .

Pace is like a breath of fresh air , seems like weve been lacking since Dapo & Charles . (Tho apparently last season Morley was the fastest at the club)

She absolutely loved it. And unexpectedly she asked if "we're" winning?  She was fascinated with Lofty, so that cost £20 in the club shop after the game, she was completely worn out after it

  • One of the many (but possibly the best) examples of how much we’ve changed over summer. Sat there absolutely buzzing that the robust and dynamic whites seem to be exactly that. Random things that

First outing for our new flag today

The two wingers had them second guessing all game, so exciting to watch.

And Randall was very encouraging I thought.

Best scenario to deal with all the Kenny hypochondriacs is for Burstow to score in a whites win.

I liked what I saw of him last week especially with his link-up, hold-up play and bringing others into the game.

Add a goal or two into the mix, with Dalby at the ready soon, then we might not have so many getting disillusioned with an untried Irish lad signing a contract with a Scottish club.

3-1 - Burstow with at least one.

I’m having this.

Kenny who?

Great performance, having two wingers with pace was so enjoyable to see, Plymouth couldn’t cope at times. And it’s early days with gayle, when he gets fully match fit and can strike up a partnership with Conway similar to acd and cogley we could take some stopping

Feel so positive and up for the season after that.

Conway excellent, TSL kicking and distribution best we’ve had in ages, simons solid and just screened and kept things simple, wingers fast and direct, burstow hard working and deserved his goal, Sheehan up for it, Randall kept us moving forward with simple but effective link up play, unit off the bench to see the game out.

Apart from a free header at 2-0 they created nothing.

We won’t get bullied this season like we have for years and schuey wont be fucking about with the likes of macatee for long.

Fuck it, we’re going up.

All good

Similar stat as last week

13 shots, only 2 on target, this week they both went in

We need to get more on target but that will come

Been crying out for a player like Simons in the middle and ADC could be a great signing

Just struggling with the #10 role so far, not been enthused by either Randall or McAtee from what I've seen

Keep it up and we'll be up there challenging

Really enjoyed that. Big win. Bring on Barnsley.

A little harsh on Randall I feel, a couple of really good passes today which we couldn’t capitalise on and his work rate was excellent.

Top marks for Schumacher picking that starting eleven.
There were hints he might make a few changes, and those he made were brave and made a nonsense of some of the comments on here about individual players. Including me. By dropping JDC and replacing him with OT there was far more cover down the right flank and created a role for Sheehan to partner Simons in the middle so that either could use their distribution skills most effectively and opened the door for more direct football which proved effective today. I was mistaken - Sheehan does have a role where he doesn’t have to feel he has to take responsibility all the time or fact about with the ball and as long as he sticks to that he’ll be fine. It’s a good system for most opposition even though it puts a lot of demands on Toal and Johnston. But they are warriors.

Can't think of anyone who had a less than 7/10 performance. Those 2 wingers absolutely terrorised them all game and we now look solid at the back thanks to the steel in midfield with Simons.

Great game, really entertaining.

A world away from last week, never mind last season. A triumph for efficiency and attacking intent over ball retention. Fancy Cozier-Duberry and Gale to be mesmerising and frustrating in equal measure over the season, but they could be the key to a serious promotion challenge if they can maintain this sort of form, especially at home.

You're right, times they need to look up and play others in, but both are pacy, tricky handfuls who are going to cause a lot of teams a lot of problems

The difference between really top wide men, and those at a lower level.

Brighton lad may go on to bigger things, but any team with two wide lads with skill and pace need them to create goals.

I'm confident they will, but some teams will double up/find a way to nullify some of that pace, meaning they will need an extra string to the bow.

There was a point where ACD got hold of it first half and three Plymouth lads all went after him

I don't know if it's just perception but we seem to be winning possession higher up the pitch more often than we have before

It felt like it was even in evidence during last week's defeat

Great performance. Wingers doing what they are supposed to do, some decent corners and a captains performance from Toal.

He seems to have some strength and a low centre of gravity.

No doubt he's gone on loan for a couple of seasons to gain experience and improve his game.

If he adds a load of end product to his game, he could go a long way.

@Anidunno if you heard Callys mention at ht

it followed Linger played for my daughters wedding and sons birthday
