Plymouth Argyle (H)

Already a big game this.

Reckon on a bigger pitch with more space we will carve these open with our new found pace.

Good bloke Jason Lowe. Still lives a stones throw from the training ground and was a tidy player for us. Let himself down this summer by signing for Tranmere though!

Yeah, up there with my favourite players from a personality/nice bloke viewpoint.  In the Gary O'Neill category of player that showed great leadership and spirit in shite eras.  We've been fortunate to have a few over the years.

Just think of all the footballing "heroes", for every club up and down the land not to mention other countries, that might have been viewed very differently if they'd had the misfortune to be at a club who was in admin/on the brink/call it what you will.  Our Diouffs, Okochas, SKDs, McGinlays and Nolans might have ended up in the "wanker" category when it got to the stage that they wanted to be paid for doing their jobs.  There go I but for the grace of god and all that, folk only get the chance to show how they'd react in certain circumstances if they are unfortunate enough to be one of 0.1% caught up in it.

Dioufy spoilt his rep here by demanding out before the season finished during the Ginger Mourinho years

That hardly registered with me.  Different situation, players can ask for transfers every day of the week, but if the club is on its knees and fighting for its existence, any player that is less than committed to staying and showing loyalty gets the villain treatment.  Connell was another one, got slated for leaving a sinking ship to go to Celtic 😀

Wasnt he out of contract, and not offered a new one as we had no owners, when he left ?

Best scenario to deal with all the Kenny hypochondriacs is for Burstow to score in a whites win.

I liked what I saw of him last week especially with his link-up, hold-up play and bringing others into the game.

Add a goal or two into the mix, with Dalby at the ready soon, then we might not have so many getting disillusioned with an untried Irish lad signing a contract with a Scottish club.

3-1 - Burstow with at least one.

There’s zero chance of a clean sheet, so I’m going to go 2-2

Let me know how it goes mate. Mine is a little older and I’m waiting as I think I took the others too early and none of em liked it. Taken my niece a few times from age of 9 and she loves it.
