  • I’m hoping people get off George Johnston’s back, now. Not for the first time, he was our best centre back last night, and is by far our best option at left centre back. I really like Inwood as a back

  • We have played 5 away games Stockport and today 2-0 Barnsley Orient and Blackpool 1-1 3 points from 5 games. So we need to change something not because I am tactical genius but because

  • Think it's been far from a shit start. I'd have it average with clear potential. It's a brand new set up, a brand new set of lads, it's very rare all that leads to instant success. I'd

Used to go down there a few times of year playing American Football, for some reason there's multiple teams all around there.

An absolutely shite place but we loved it every time, really good night out. There is/was a brilliant Vietnamese restaurant down the road from the Ibis in the centre as well.

Oren Pho, Gas St. Pretty decent.

Son # lives in Northampton, as close to anyway, does Zulu of this site.

Another town hollowed out by out-of-town shopping mall around it.

Out. Was delighted when the fixtures came out that this was the one we’d be missing for wife’s 40th in Sorrento.

Looking forward to this, we had a belting trip last season

Out , first game missed this season but can't be arsed with dreary aways like Northampton, Wycombe or Reading unless the game is crucial.

Lots of folks thinking like this atm.

Novelty of these places has gone and we need to get out of this shit league asap.

I quite like Reading now we’ve taken a deeper dive in to the place. Dreading even the idea of Wycombe going to the Friday again though

If you mean for Sky coverage, 7th November is last day they can change any games upto end Feb

Deadline has already passed for TV moving it but it wasn’t on TV last year either. Longer turnaround to Boxing Day this time though so have to assume it won’t get moved.

Quite a few teams change their home games from last Saturday before Xmas to the Friday night due to Xmas shopping.  Can see this being one of them

Yeah I like it now I’ve worked a bit there

In x 2, grandson's first ever away match

5-0 whites

Corner turned

2-0 to the super whites

Important game this. If we can play anything like we did yesterday - and for me that will need SS to minimise his rotation of players - we have a good chance of getting an away win and carrying the momentum forward.

I really hope he sticks with Forss +1 up front and Simons + Erhahon in the middle as it really opens up options for our wingers.

Any win and no injuries would be great at this point.

Agree...Give the players a vote of confidence and keep the same team [injuries apart]  The EFL game This week should be a good game to give squad/returning players mins

None of that starting 11 should start. Learn from last years mistakes when players got flogged playing two games a week with no rest and we picked up bad injuries in meaningless games. No need to rotate playing one game a week.......Fringe players also keeping fit ready to come into the team by playing in the EFL cup

Exactly, use these games for the fringe players who need the minutes to keep them fresh and ready to come in when needed and I’m sure Schu will. Don’t want to take any chances this season.

Got to be fancying our first away win.

Need to as well.

Climb the league and keep building confidence.

Interesting set of fixtures coming up

Northampton aren't bad but you've to to fancy us

Then Peterborough and Burton who currently two

3 wins would put us in good stead as it's Huddersfield and Cardiff after that

Time to start building some momentum

Shane Burton might get postponed
