  • I’m hoping people get off George Johnston’s back, now. Not for the first time, he was our best centre back last night, and is by far our best option at left centre back. I really like Inwood as a back

  • We have played 5 away games Stockport and today 2-0 Barnsley Orient and Blackpool 1-1 3 points from 5 games. So we need to change something not because I am tactical genius but because

It's a really poor result

SS is an idiot at times; really can’t see us going up

Don't take this wrong as I think SS is the right manager for us but today really is poor from all involved

All about what happens in both boxes. We don't create shedloads of chances but today's misses when on top were damaging, while we must give away the most goals from the least on target attempts in the Division.

Not sure about the Erhahon for Sheehan change either, in tandem they look after the ball better than any other combo we have

Some wet wipes around today.

Absolutely no evidence of that.

A very dispiriting result. Three points from five away games is getting us nowhere I am afraid.

There was always a danger of after the lord mayor's show today but to succumb to it like this is a setback. Two steps forward one step back. To get promotion it has to be week in and week out ruthlessness.

Worst performance of the season so far, so much for backing up last weeks win eh.

Why change a winning team this result in on SS, Sheehan as people have said sloes the games down still thinks he’s playing for IE and the goalie ffs.

Can we have Nobby Nolan as manager, they can have SS

That on the strength of one game, today. Good god.

Which other defender should be on the bench that can play R-B?  At Barnsley we brought off Conway and replaced  him with a midfielder (EE) so there's a precedent for it.  At Stockport we replaced JDC with Tutu (not a R-B).  I'm not agreeing with it, but its far from being a first, we don't have sub full backs on the bench, so if one gets injured someone's going to be playing out of position.  Keeping Simons on was probably seen as a positive move as we were chasing a goal at 0-0.

Yes.

Definitely a case of after the lord mayor's show

Very unfair to blame Sheenan for today's defeat. Not one player can come out with any credit.

Christie's a good signing but he needs to be up to doing 20 mins in the league ASAP, getting towards a quarter of the way into the season with no alternative to Cogley is far from ideal

Sheehan is the easy and obvious target as the only change, I dont think he is the problem.  We should have been 1 up at least  first half and our Keeper couldn't catch a cold. These are the same issues we have seen whether Sheehan is in the team or not.

stat read out today was we've had more shots on goal than any other team in the country, and conceded the least

cleary turning dominance into wins is a work in progress

I wouldn't mind so much if we were in the play off places

My opinion.

We were always going to become a cropper at some stage and there's no denying today was shit, but I'd rather have the odd bad game than watch one more minute of the shite we had to endure under IE

Looks like I'm not alone in my lack of confidence in SS. It's toxic when it starts to turn, but he's been given the money to bring his own players, apart from a handful and although he says the right things, there's not much by way of improvement. So disappointing and frustrating. Maybe I've gone early with my emotional judgment but I'm struggling to see much improvement under SS

Erhahon is now our best player, until we next win without him 😀

On another note, I wonder when we last went 5 away games without taking the lead, and 5 away games without scoring in the first hour.  We are literally a different team away from home, it can no longer be put down to tougher fixtures.

Not bad considering this is the best front 6 we've had for years 🙄

Beat Peterboro next week and we could go 7th.

Then why has he bought Christie and Taylor? His bench IMO is wrong, but Toal has played RB before so that was an option. But just switching Simons into RB was not a very clever move and is concerning

I'm not sure it's even that really

We've not won away from home this season in five attempts and we've won just three out of our ten so far

We need to quickly start getting it right
