Ffs Dalby, Taylor, Cissoko, both Goalies have been cack

You can only sign players that are available and within our budget. Even big money signing in the premiership don't alwalys come off.

And gone are the days of taking a loanee from Real Madrid B.

Still there must be players out there if we spread the net wide enough.

these have lost 5 in a row, last home game was 1-5 v Plymouth

surely we win this

You do know what usually happens when Bolton come to town?

I've fucked up and agreed to have folk round ours for a piss up on new years day (thick fucker I am, I said yes to "Thursday" without putting 2 and 2 together).

Means avoiding the internet for 24 hours or so and watching 'as live' the day after on wanderers tv.

Don't know if that's a good omen or a shit un.

Wycombe had lost 3 before they beat us!

Mansfield hadn't won since October till Saturday then won at Barnsley and here, form means nothing.  Whoever we are playing we need to put shots on target and out of the keeper's reach, and the couple of chances or corners the opposition create need to not end up in our net, and that seems difficult currently.  Hard to see us winning without scoring at least 2.

It's your house man. Surely it's your call to put it on and if folk want to watch they can?

I know I couldn't do the "hosting family" thing while Bolton are even playing, never mind trying to watch it on TV. Nothing worse than trying to make polite conversation or play family games while fuming at the ref not giving us a pen or Dalby missing a sitter.  Best for everyone that the two are kept separate!

last night clashed with an invite to a do round a neighbours house which I had to attend

he's a Utd fan, but told him I was only coming if he got the match on on his firestick

which he did

I just can't bring myself to do the ignore the result and watch next day thing. Just doesn't work for me.

In the past the Mrs has just said to people, "he'll go missing for 90 mins, feel free to join him anyone" 😁

We had 15 at our house yesterday, but it was all planned to finish at 7pm prompt, so started early afternoon.

7 of us were going to the game, and yes we could have theoretically all watched it on TV if it had been an away game, but losing 0-1 to Mansfield would have been a nightmare trying to keep up the positive festive feel with none-footy/BW fans.  If there were no games at Christmas I might be a better host!

Score a goal.

Please...

This is beyond a MUST win

We lose this massive meltdown on here.

The saving grace is that we can't dwell on the Mansfield result.

Too used to watching on my own, no distractions. It'd wind me up having folk there, especially if they're not fans.

I'll cope with the wait, done it before. Avoiding this place for a day or so after the game could be an added bonus too 😁

Aye, a non football fan saying " never mind, it's only a game " isn't easy to deal with calmly when we concede a defining last minute goal.

To be fair if we don't win here, then I have no reason to be against a meltdown, especially considering the number of supporters that we have turning up home and away.

We don't deserve to go up especially just a few days after losing to Mansfield at home if we don't win here as well.

We are a nearly team at the moment, lots of "we should have won that... oh if we just took our chance then...if the referee did that..." Time for action now.

To be honest, on here is nothing like Twatter or Facemither. Other than one or two drama queens and WUM’s the debate and rational discussion is better than anywhere post game, win or lose.

I wouldn’t be turning out tomorrow if I didn’t think we can, should and will get the 3 points.

This is where we see what Bolton Wanderers away form should be like for the rest of the season.

Surely it has to be better than Mansfield away last year - awful. And a fucking stinking hangover that I couldn’t rescue with hair of the dog.

Looking at the table we need to win to avoid getting caught by the ‘pack’. We have a few points ahead of 9th but below that there are only 3 points between 9th and 21st !

From Doncaster’s point of view they need to win to catch up with the pack. Our last 2 results have come at a bad time.

It feels like the Mansfield away game a few weeks ago, a very winnable away game 3 days after an "unacceptable" result.  A game that could have previously been the one out of the 4 where we maybe dropped a couple of points so that 10 points from 4 winnable games looked reasonable.

That changed with the home defeat, even 2 wins in 4 days won't be enough for the festive points total, but will certainly mean damage limitation and prevent the meltdowns.

And whatever anyone says, the ref helped us win at Mansfield and contributed to us losing at home, so as usual he may have a big say in the result.

Nothing less than a win. These have won one of their last 12 in the league.
