Leyton Orient (H)

Really is a big game this.

Heading to the abyss of the season this is where we really do need to make a statement and start kicking on.

Saw McAtee starting, thought fine, give him the benefit of the doubt and all that.   Two minutes in, ball played up to him, he just runs looking at the defender and the ball hits him on the bac

Problem is we don’t have anyone on the bench who can improve things.

Orient doing a right job on us. But were so sloppy.

That's as bad as it gets

Utter shite, we are regressing, cant keep hold of it. Midfield is non existent, have a massive gap between Dalby and anyone else and McAtee having to come back into his own half to get the ball. When we do break we inevitably make the wrong decision and give it away cheaply. It is garbage

Fucķ knows he changed something that looked to be working.

It wasn't working we looked poor against Stevenage and Wigan was a derby match, as everyone was saying results go out the window with a derby match.

Conway as the chance to change the mood but na, puts it wide instead, 3 and a half home games without a goal, 2 tame shots on target, JM Given a rare start and has been terrible.

3 goals in 8 games since Sheehan last minute winner v Rotherham.

lucky goal by Dempsey at Doncaster

tap in from a decent cross at Peterboro

1 big goalkeeper mistakes from Wigan goalkeeper

Huge week coming up in TW to change this attack, ACD our best player injured for who knows how long despite him being out of form himself

Hmm, two good aways, then back to shite.

Do these players actually want to get promotion?

What did they do in training to prepare to go back to the previous formation, and not have Sheehan available.

What is SS idea, when teams seem to have sussed this way of playing?

Can't help feeling that with two holding midfield types, and two strikers, that we need the wingers to be wide, and stretch the game out.

Maybe swap Gale over- Christie is more of a defender than Conway, so use the pace of Gale to go outside.

Tutu can be good down the left, and can get on the end of a cross too.

That's jf he stick to this formation.

More fundamentally though, why is the passing so tentative and poor.

Just cack all over.

So we've lost possilbly are two most creative players to bad tackles on Shennan last match and Duberry today but no booking for either player.

Conway and Gale have played together before haven't they... right...?

Gale is gash; unfortunately the Cissoko is even worse

That was really, really, really poor.

Passing terrible, ball control terrible, movement and showing for the ball terrible.

The set up isn’t helping. We always knew Orient are going to press high and with Simons and Erhahon getting pushed back there’s a chasm between our strikers and the defence so Orient are picking up all the second balls and knockdowns.

Not sure how much of our poor performance is down to Orients pressure but it is clear their plan is to force us to produce some proper quality to beat them - and we had very little quality in that half.

Something needs to change.

someone remind me of a worse first half !

3 goals in last 8 games

Dempsey for McAtee to help control the middle, Cissoko for Gale, atleast Cissoko sometimes gets to the byline.

Was Schon worse than Gale?
