and there's a strong possibility they end up as our opponents at some stage in the play-offs

if that's the case winning today may have got our win against them out the way, so we are due a win against them, not saying you can't beat a team twice in a row but it's a little superstition I have sometimes in that regard.

We should have won against them in the first half on the opening day, we didn't get a pen along with the chances that day, which perhaps that call today evened it out, thankfully the ref didn't see it as clumsy from Tutu, I was certain it was gonna be given int he spit second, but not sure it was a foul.

We're at a crossroads and have been for a while now. It feels that when we lose a game, it's the end of promotion, manager isn't good enough, inquest on every player begins. We win like on Friday

  • For me, Sheehan plays every game he personally claims to be fit enough to play. He was immense in that second half yesterday, doing the work people don't think he can do. He blocked, pressed, tac

We didn't bottle anything. They're a good team and have been in the top 5 pretty much all season. Sure folk forget we are actually playing an opposition. They are our level and we are t

Stockport are a decent side.

Apter is and has always.been randallesque. Miles off it

Not sure what Conway is. He has strangely got himself a regular place the starting 11, but he is definitely not a defender

Kenny is quick and direct, but unless we get promoted, he will be back at celtic at the end of the season.

The ref, I'm informed was from the premiership and thought he did well, not giving free kicks for falling over.

Hope.im wrong but I feel that the season in just fading away and we will flop in the play offs.

Well done Lincoln, great season.

I think we are desperate  for two proper full backs. Tutu is not the answer, and Conway gets caught out time after time out of position. Both goals, in my opinion, he was at fault.

I'd agree with that but we're a bit stuck for now unless we go 3CBs.

It was certainly a big mistake not getting some form of cover/alternative in Jan but we seemed in panic mode due to the lack of form in attack.

Is what it is.

If we play Stockport in Play offs it's a coin toss for me. We'd have to be bang on point in every single department.

Doable. But so easily fuckable.

You could see after the first 5 mins what their game plan was, in behind the full backs every time. I hope we don’t have to play them in the play offs because they looked a better team today.

Thought Stockport played well winning second balls and better passing good point for use

We really need right back left back players that can defend strongly in this league we looked better after substitutions on 70 mins but we are really still too slow moving the ball forward , Burstow made some good runs but had to check back as we went sideways we need to be more positive we are still looking for players rather than knowing where they should be, this is slowing down our game , still looking forward to trip to Wembley though!

Think a point was fair. Just a Shame the goals we conceded were avoidable. Today we did miss a bit of steel in midfield.

I thought Ruben made a difference when he came on and nice to see Amario back in a white shirt.  Overall 4 points from Plymouth and stockport is a good return.

An enjoyable afternoon in the sun. Credit again to come back from behind, its almost expected now.

Its all about us in the playoffs, bring our A game we'll blast anyone out of the water, including these,  you could feel their fans edgy at 2-2, and even at 1-2.

Despite scoring 2 goals i still never feel we'll score against that 9ft monster in net 😆

Cissokos shooting was biz, I was paying extra attention to it as I had him first goal scorer.... but he put a shift in today, made / won at least 5 tackles in the first half alone, (I cant see him second half, too far away ha ha) but the guy did alright today, not sure ive seen Gale win 5 tackles all season like

Up the whites. Stockport to lose 2 Wembley finals in one season....

We’re just a bit shit

He was the ref when we won at Wigan earlier in the season

We need to ditch this wingers nonsense Gale, Cissoko, Apter none of them are good enough and we're forcing our wing backs to be full backs to do it, which is hurting their game too.

We need to go back 3/5 for the rest of the season for me.

Our recruitment still leaves alot to be desired. Again, my opinion, Gale, Taylor, massive contracts, then we have Apter, Rodregues, Cissoko, . Kenny looks the business for me, if he played for Lincoln, or these lot who we have just played, he would be a 20 goal a season, our slow build up doesnt suit him, and his intellegent runs.

Th debate is whether we finish 3rd, 4th or 5th now. Either way I think we’ll end up crossing paths with Stockport again either in the 2 legs or the final. Not sure which is the lesser of 2 evils as they are a very tidy side who seem to recently have our number.

3rd has to be the aim when all things considered because even though I don’t trust us completely, I’d fancy us over any of the contenders for 6th

Opinions, arseholes, etc. but to my mind Rodrigues looks like he's beginning to find his feet

So many times Kenny made runs and got nothing. Cissoko in the first half wanted the ball fired in to space.

Toal the biggest culprit and Conway not far behind him.

If we had any other decent defenders Toal should be dropped if he's blind to, incapable or shit scared of playing a quick ball over the top. At least 6 times today Kenny or Burstow made the right runs and he played it sideways instead. Kenny gives us a simple route to goal, we need to wake up to it.

The fixation with a back four including Conway and Tutu will cost us in the play offs. Opponents are all wise to it now and target it. Both goals were shambolic and a direct consequence of it.

Apter looks like somebody's lad who's won a prize to play with the big lads for a day. Last we'll have seen of him hopefully.

It was, though, a good game against a decent side, if a hugely frustrating one. Cardiff opened the door again and we fell again at the entrance

Just back and thought a draw was a fair result

1st half I think we were slightly the better side

2nd half they dominated first 20 minutes until we made subs

MOM Kenny

On a side note how disappointing is Apter offered nothing in defence or attack

A bit of urgency is needed from him, high 5-ing all the players when coming over to take a corner when we were 2-1 down did my blood pressure no good

We play these again in the play-offs every chance Johnston, Erhahon, and ACD start. They have worked how we play out

A back three of Johnston,Firino and Toal and tell them to keep our shape and we frustrate the hell out of Stockport

We must have had about 10 corners and I can't remember us winning the first header.

A point that I have made previously is that the step over king doesn't kick the ball very well. Seems to hit it on his ankle rather that instep or laces.

Was an absolutely unreal ball from the halfway line to pick out Burstow who should have done better with the header, really

Dempsey put in a couple of absolute corkers again first half but once again we had nobody attacking the ball at the back pot

So he should do, hes been here since Jan. His corners and free kicks where fuckin woeful! Was you watching the same game?

Draw was probably the right result but we had more than enough intent and possession to win 10 games, especially after the subs.

That's quite an Evatt-esque statement. We had 50.3% possession and had one shot on target in the second half.

Probably the most predictable result of the season that we'd draw after winning at Plymouth. That's the debate about our defence in a nutshell, relatively untroubled overall, but when teams need a goal we're usually on hand to gift them one or two.

Positives - ACD is back and Kenny took his goal well (given Hardie is injured again that really did turn out well).

And if we hadn't lost to a team for 30 years, I'd definitely be worried about playing them in the playoffs

Oh, and whenever I see Rob Apter play I can't help but think of the Charlton fans who were slagging off Nathan Jones for not playing him. And that he cost them over £2m.

Makes Randall look like a bargain.

I don't think so
