They need to win at ours to have a chance of play offs.

This could potentially mean (obviously other results going a certain way), we could be playing them three games in a row. 

They're proper in form too.

I tend to agree.

Prefer to avoid Stockport, but only as they have a bit of a hoodoo over us.

Not feeling confident to be honest. Going to be tough going to Bradford for the second leg and I can't see much leadership in the team at the moment.

We will continue to be shaky at the back.

Unless SS looks at our performances with 3 centre backs, where we were tighter.

He won't go that way though, so it's either look to provide more defensive cover in front, or continue to try and score more than the opposition. 

We should still have done that today, but were wasteful.

What a cracking game and full marks to both teams for making it that. Shame about the result but you won’t see a much more exciting L1 game than that. Bradford next and I’m confident we’ll dispose of them even though we’re away second leg. Just glad that Stevenage managed that late win because Luton would have won the play offs no question in my mind if they’d sneaked in.

We will be 5th in the 3rd tier in every history book, our 5th season!!  I'm embarrassed shite like Stockport and Bradford have finished above us, Cardiff too tbh. Lincoln I will doff my cap however.

So now we go into the play offs second leg away and and on the back of a loss that had all the failings we have had all fuckin season.

The guy has been backed to the hilt and has managed 5th, so regardless of success int eh play offs that is not success.

Promotion will mask it, but this season( so far) has been pretty shit.

More confident we are playing Bradford and that today gets a loss out the way but to many mistakes in the team and the defence is average at best as is the keeper, so it would only be proper faith to say we are gonna get to the final, we need a 2 goal lead at least, for nerves sake 3 or more lol.

 

Played our best players still lost anyways in the end. 

The frustrating thing about us is we too often have a tendency to do just not quite enough

Playing a back 4 with no real full backs is crazy, never going to work.

Could / should have been out of sight well before their 3rd.

Thought it was a good game, and a nice change not to feel too pissed off after a defeat.

We’ve got what we’ve got and if we’d taken some of the late chances we had we’d have won and finished 3rd but we were up against arguably the strongest team in L1 today and even with a weak defence we could have won. You're right we dont have full backs but we have wing backs.

If he was going to play with a back 4 he should have signed some.

I take your point but the counter argument is that our wingers are our greatest strength and if we go with wing-backs we either lose or lessen that strength

I'm not sure we have any great options

It all very well these happy clappers saying its ok, we're in the play offs lets just see what happens??, imagine that was in the not so old days when finishing 3rd would get you promoted!!

We go into the game just needing the win, any win, just a win.

But then we remembered, we're BWFC if we can f**k it up we'll find a way.

Watch the second goal again. Bonham gets caught underneath it but tutu makes no attempt to play the ball, he's too busy wrestling the defender. It basically hits him and goes in. Both to blame. 

We could go on for days about the defensive errors and missed chance, but the previous 46 matches now don't matter.

Do we think we get past Bradford in 2 matches? I do.

Today was always going to be an attacking game with a late winner. We're still better than all the other teams in the playoffs. Stop being negative and look forward to a Saturday on the piss.
