gonzo Posted May 8 Posted May 8 It's the hanging about all day waiting to go to the game that's the issue. Nobody wants to be leaving their house at 6-7pm on a Saturday night. Anyway if we start tomorrow with Burstow and RR as the 10 we may as well all go home. Get some injections in Kenny and Dalby ffs. Cortisone in their fucking eyes. Quote

In the League One playoffs, Sheffield Wednesday faced Peterborough United in a dramatic semi-final match. After a 4-0 defeat in the first leg, Wednesday made a remarkable comeback to win 5-1 in the second leg, overcoming a four-goal deficit. The match ended in a 5-5 aggregate, with Wednesday winning the penalty shootout to advance to the final. Quote

Kenny could have been crocked in the first minute tomorrow. Being pedantic but it would have been Stevenage away tomorrow at 3pm if we'd beat Luton. If we'd been at home in 2nd leg we could have had another few days discussing how many tickets we'd sold too. Quote
Johnnyrotten Posted May 8 Posted May 8 1 hour ago, barrycowdrill said: if and it’s a big if Kenny is done i would imagine Simon’s / EE alongside Sheehan Rodrigues pushed forward in to the 10 role behind Burstow with Dalby on the bench GJ replacing Conway I've no idea what will work and what won't, but I bet there'll be a minimum of changes to his preferred starting X1: the usual defence; the same midfield; up front Burstow partnering one of McAtee or Dalby (depending on fitness). It sounds like Dalby isn't ready to start, so we're without both our 1st choice strikers which isn't ideal. Quote
Johnnyrotten Posted May 8 Posted May 8 1 hour ago, Zico said: they will still be watching them, just not at the ground but less than 25k is shit given we had 25k on v luton (yes i know that includes tickets not being used) as dissapoting as home leg first is, home leg on saturday at 8pm meaning - for those inclined (which is most) - a good session before the game and a night match, it's a bit shite that folk aren't turning out for an 8pm Saturday night ko of such magnitude But they are turning out. Probably the biggest home support in 2 years, how is that not turning out? As you say the 22.5k home crowd last week includes tickets not used, maybe 20k? So folk didn't turn up last week despite having a ticket and not having to pay anything to go and being aware of the game for months, and this week more folk are coming, despite having to get and pay for a ticket, at a less convenient KO time, at short notice. That's a sign that fans are turning out to me, its great support. The false attendance figures of every league game have made us think 20k+ is below average. Quote
Dr Faustus Posted May 8 Posted May 8 Grassroots 1st team at Horwich RMI 2pm tomorrow; win they go top of the league with 1 game left… I’ll be making an afternoon of it Quote

Then push Ruben in as his preferred number 10 behind Dalby, with Cissoko and Duberry on the wings. That's an unreal side and one Bradford wish they'd have available. No excuses. I can't see Ethan coming straight back in after not playing for over a month. Also in your team you've got duberry and cissokho on the wings so ethan wouldn't be left mid, He'd be central and not really helping out Jonno. Quote

Left defensive midfielder. Their most dangerous player is Neufville at RWB and they are very heavy right sided which is worrying considering our left side. Having Ethan there if he is fit and ready would be vital to help Johnston/Conway out Quote

Latest Celtic News Johnny Kenny Transfer from Celtic to Bolton Wanderers Bolton is aware that Celtic requires a £1m fee for the permanent signing of Johnny Kenny, and his goals and performances are making that outcome more probable.
