It’s more than a decade since I’ve invested into football highlights.

Now I have, I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed highlights as much!

Hardest thing is the change in morning routine. Don’t look at your phone, turn your TV on, turn your volume off, without any chance of any spoilers. Load up iPlayer and quickly select your games.

Watching Germany and Holland go out on penalties without knowing what was coming this morning, in particular with Paraguay missing their last two of the opening 5, was fantastic!

looked a great game until the pens, some of the worst i've ever seen

Only managed to watch a bit of the Brazil game. Had a look at the Germany starting line up and saw that Musiala wasnt starting, what's happened there? Thought he was one of the next big things

He certainly started as a full back, and then was moved into midfield, I'd have thought more recognised as a midfielder these days though. He may even have moved into being a Centre Half at some point as well.

I'm not an outrageous German football nonce like @tomski , @Big E and @DazBob though, so am not really sure

Recorded it and watched when I got up at 7.00am, brilliant game, fast, physical, loads of chances. Pens were laughable but certainly dramatic. I like Morocco, great to watch

Been enjoying the clips from it until I saw that Thogden absolutely skriking behind the goal in a Morocco shirt. Ruined the entire tournament for me.

They look strong 1-11, but up front they are exceptional

France are just too good, and Sweden have played really well.
