whos the worst loan signing we have made

ROBERT FLECK for me

That centre forward from Preston can't remember his name, dark hair and a bit overweight. Previously prolific goalscorer in lower divisions absolute non-tryer for us :-k

Thank you Casino, Nigel Jemson was who I was thinking about.

Andy Kennedy - from Brighton (?)

Missed an absolute sitter away at Pompey (?), then started to do 10 push-ups as penence in front of the away end, and ran out of puff after 3. Fortunately we sent him back and got one Andrew Walker on loan instead.

I didn't think Fleck was that bad actually. I thought Andy Kennedy only played one game for us against Chester at Macclesfield.

stuart ripley

You are definitely fishing here. He scored on his debut. Rioch loaned him to Bolton to give him experience.

Don't want to hark on about it but I think we signed that stump Peter Barnes on loan the season before Sheff U game - played his first match at Darlington away - lost 1 - 0.

Robert Fleck wasn't THAT bad, indeedy.

John Gregory.

That would be John Charles Gregory. If only we could have had him without the Gregory. After Tom Finney, John Charles was the second best player I have ever seen.

Tony Ellis. 1985. He pissed off after one game.

His loss.

He now coaches the Under 14's at Burnley's Academy.
