Guest captain zero Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 first game of season now 5.15 kick off against spurs
bwfcy2k Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 first game of season now 5.15 kick off against spurs Where you heard that? What a fcuk up. First game should be 3pm Sat. Like last game-all kick offs same time
Gonk Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 BOLTON WANDERERS' opening game of the season against Tottenham Hotspur at the Reebok Stadium has also been chosen as a Sky TV fixture. Wanderers will now play host to Spurs at 5.15pm on Saturday 19 August, live on Sky PPV © BWFC Official Site
Happy Wanderer Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 All this changing the kick-off times for the telly really hacks me off. They should at least keep the first match of the season to 3pm.
desperado Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 It's a bit annoying when you plan your away games around those that aren't being shown on sky/ppv, that there are only 2 away, and that all the PPV games are at home.
Traf Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 I hate the 5.15 kick offs, just as I hate the 12 noon, Sunday and Monday games and the fact that we play our midweek matches on Wednesdays at 8Pm. Traditionally, we played midweek on Tuesdays at 7.30. When Big Sam insisted on going back to the all-white kit, he should have insisted on going back to Tuesday football too. This, of course, has nothing to do with the fact that it clashes with my work and Allstars commitments. 8Pm kick offs aren't good for us parents. An 8Pm KO finishes at around 9.55pm. By the time you get your kids home, it's 11pm usually, which IMO is too late for a child to be up on a school night. The extra half hour really does make a difference to a child's sleep requirements.
Happy Wanderer Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Unfortunately is all part of being a successful club, in the top flight, best league in the world etc

Traf Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 I'd want us to beat Bournemouth, not get a decent draw.

Whites man Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 Traditionally, we played midweek on Tuesdays at 7.30. Sorry Traf but traditionally we played Wednesdays at 7.30 as this was Market Day / early closing. It was always Tuesday, Wednesday's like doing being Vegetarian or doing fat birds, nothing wrong in principle but it just doesn't seem right.

Exiled Girl Posted June 30, 2006 Posted June 30, 2006 i have tuesday as our night, but H is older than biff, so i'd take his word It was Tuesday from at least 1969 because I only did Tues matches as Dad worked Sat.
