My first bite of the day. Does the negative energy you only seem able to create bother the other members of the jobclub who sit near you?

just hope someone at club has the good sense to make sure he is invited back next season to let the fans show their appreication to the man.

if youri can make the world cup finals sure he could be enticed back also.

Going to the World Cup was a big mistake for Youri, though.

He was arrested before the France v Brazil game over leaving the scene of an accident from his time at Kaiserslautern. He was also spotted on TV by his current club, the New York Red Bulls who had given him a weekend off to attend to a "serious family issue".

It's a good deal for him, but it's not much (if any) more than we paid him.

I'm not sure about that actually.

Any income over ??750,000 a year is taxable at a flat rate of 35%

JJ will pay ??525,000 a year in Qatari tax, leaving him with ??18,750 a week after tax. He'd have paid ??592,000 in this country, so the move is only making him ??67,000 a year better off.

i'll take your word for the tax rate

i still suspect he'll have ways and means of tax avoidance, but it surprises me all the same

i'll continue knocking back the offers i get from qatar
