Weds 20th - Train Manchester to Bristol, ?13. Bristol to Madrid, Easyjet, ?29 (think it has gone up now). Three nights Hostal Camino ?60 each. Fly back home early Sunday, so not bothering with a fourth night in the hotel. Fly back Sunday 24th, 6:30am, Ryanair, Madrid to East Midlands ?47.50. Getting back from Nottingham not been sorted, but hopefully in time to get to Ewood. ?149.50 for Wednesday to Sunday. Not bad I think.

Three of the party have only 2 days holiday left. We are all at the age that a 5 hour drive or train journey to Exeter airport is a joke and not worth the money it saves. So direct flights from Manchester (an impossible option for all those travelling independently), all transfers included and a decent hotel in the centre for ?289. I reckon the cheapest options still available from northern airports plus a good hotel plus transfers will get you pretty close to that price anyway. So anybody still weighing up your options - get booked with Happy!! * p.s. does that plug guarantee I win the refund in your free draw?
