sometimes Bolton fans baffle me, that is if you really are a fan of BWFC.

Yes. Sorry. I so appologise for having an opinion mr Dictator.

It's just all me, me, me, me. Sorry.

I shall just sit back and get shafted quietly.

What are you on about, no one is shafting you, the prices remain unaltered for 3 years, you have the option to buy in the NSL for ?299, or preferably dont buy one for Bolton buy 1 at wigan it is ?250 there.

Petrol has risen by 40% since the last season started.

It has Traf, and you have to remember that the poor footballers who drive around in Ferrari's, Hummers, Range Rovers and other such fuel hungry, automotive beasts, are paying a hell of a lot more now to drive to both training, and the ground on match days. Nobody considers how there fuel costs have gone up!

it's positively encouraged

Prices have remained unaltered for 3 years correct. My problem is not the actual price its the fact they have reduced the cost so much in NSL. Fine NSL will be full, but the rest of the ground will be empty, apart from kids who get in for ?50 for the whole season.

As previously mentioned by someone else, what have they done to entice me back at the same rate as last season? Last season we had european football for a start, this year looks like another season of avoiding relegation with that ginger muppet still in charge.

For the same price I paid last year, the ticket is no where near as attractive this season. Excellent effort in reducing the NSL, but why haven't they carried that through the rest of the ground? Its just another BWFC ticketing Fook up/master stroke to add to the list. They had all that time to get it right but they have not gone far enough in my opinion.

I will be waiting so see the quality of signings we make before I decide whether to renew or not. Every season I have rushed to get the extra 10% discount only for it to be extended when they realise they aint selling tickets. I expect similar this year.

do you know something about our new kit manafacturer ?

Why yes, they are the up and coming brand :yahoo:

I dont want to become Mr Nasty but yet again the gripe is somebody getting something extra that I can't, with people like this I think bolton would have been better just leaving it at status quo all round the ground, I must say i find it all quite stomach churning.

If they can't offer the same rewards/discounts to all, then they should have left it the same all round the ground.

Do you work for BWFC as you seem to be they only person who is on a personal quest to put everyone down who disagrees with your opinion?

No I dont work for Bolton, and it is not a personal quest to put everyone down, it is only my viewpoint and I think I am right, as I am sure you do.

Now that wouldn't be value for money at all. ?400 and having status quo all round the ground. Oh aye, rockin' all over the world!

PS As for pissing in the sinks, Smiffs: you sicken me.

Only the women are allowed to do that.

mounts i do not disagree with your sentiments but do you think the pricing will have an positive impact on attendances ?

This is doomed...

i would say that 60% of that stand are existing season ticket holders...most will not move...irrelevant of whether they sing or not....mistake 1

and why should they when it will cost them a whole lot more....mistake 2

and these will be the ones that will be the first to tell you to sit down...

there may only be say 1000 available tickets for that end...not enough to satisfy demand, as people will automatically want one for there as it's the cheapets, irrelevant as to whether you want to sing or not....mistake 3

alianating the remaining 9000?? loyal customers by not reducing their season ticket by the same % is very very short sighted.....mistake 4

if i was a ESL / WSL i would be very pissed off...

Wigan and Blackburn's cheapest season ticket's are still cheaper than ours...and they have increased prices this season...

I would put this up there with the Carling Cup Final f*ck up.

although this will be my first season with a full paying adult season ticket i do not see why people should pay almost 9 times for a seat than someone else does. people can knock me all they like but i don't see how a season ticket will be of benefit for me. a membership will cost only slightly more and yet i don't have to waste my time on the games i only go to because i have a season ticket. there is nothing to benefit people without kids. i do not think the singing stand will work either because people will stay there for the reason they already sit there. it is cheaper than everywhere else.

It'll be just like Ryanair and Easyjet: a limited number of cheap seats and then top whack for everyone else.

if by nine times as much you are on about kids tickets i disagree.

i take our lasses young lad to games, if it was say ?15 per game he would come to 2 or 3 games, at these prices he gets a season ticket, if it was say ?200 he would nt.

kids ticket prices should apply when you are buying an adult ticket or they should police the use better, make it a family ticket.

cheap kids tickets is investing in the future, which whatever people thinks makes some business sense, i do not see how the club is going to profit from the cheap tickets in NSL.

my point is they are trying to encourage the people who take their children but not offering any real incentive for the likes of my self to part with my money upfront.

i can't wait to here the lying ones spin on it....

it may be difficult though with Gartsides cock in his mouth...

I dont think it will lead to a big increase in season ticket sales, but I think a lot more kids will go, we have been losing potential support to the likes of Wigan, I know of some 13-14 year olds who go to wigan from Walkden because the price is so cheap, this should address this problem, a bigger factor on season ticket sales will be the the players we sign, hopefully 1 or 2 will capture the imagination and will wipe away the stale stench of negativity that a lot of Bolton fans currently have, despite 8 years of fantastic succes on field, we have to get a reality check as fans of BWFC, we should not be in the premier league as our levels of support does not warrant it.

What would you have done?

One thing that this thread proves is that if those contributing to this thread are representative of our fanbase, then our support is a bunch of extremely negative moaners, and the club can never ever win. I don't know why Eddie Davies doesn't pack the whole thing in and put us back in the position of being broke in the 4th tier.

The club have had ample time to get this right.

Matchday revenue is insignificant in the grand scheme of things. The money from Sky and the merit bonuses of ?720,000 a place keep the club afloat.

Since ticket revenue is so insignificant and we all agree that ?49 for a child and ?299 for an adult is excellent pricing: they should quite simply have made all the lower tier plus North Upper the same price. Then added ?40 if you wanted to go in ESU or WSU.

That would have seen a much larger take-up on Season Tickets.

Can't disagree with that Traf.
