Manny Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 The airport handling cost probably goes into the pockets of those guys who throw your suitcases all over the place breaking anything you have inside.
Sweep Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Airport handling Charge: ?4.14 Airport handling charge, what the shitting hell is that then That's the amount you pay for the privilege of some Eastern European/illegal immigrant (who hasn't had any sort of CRB check done) to chuck your cases around and bounce them off walls. They will probably also open the cases and sniff your Y-backs

Traf Posted September 28, 2008 Posted September 28, 2008 Passenger Service Charge: This is what airlines pay to UK airports for the use of the airport's passenger facilities. ie a charge per person for being on the airport land! The handling charge is indeed the charge for baggage handling. Airlines are breaking the cost of ticket down into all its components to try and show that the cost of the flight itself is reasonable and it's the extra taxes and charges that cost the earth.
Bigtoe Posted September 29, 2008 Posted September 29, 2008 Its the quarantine charge for looking after your goats
