globaldiver Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 The consensus is that Newcastle are a big club and couldn't possibly go down. 12 games left 12 points needed, probably 4 of the games are against 4 of the top 5 So, 12 from 8 If we do 'em next weekend, 12 from 7; almost championship form. Let's hope we do 'em, then (+ hope they go down with Blackburn)
Traf Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 Hmmm, Alardyce, Diouf & Nolan all relegated? Carlsberg don't do relegations, but if they did......................

Gaz Nt Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 As much I would like to see Blackburn go down, i don't think the season would be the same without a trip to Ewood Park. Luv it when we play the 6 fingered banjo players!
Guest as Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Spurs and Newcastle to go down.....pleeeeeeeeeease!
mannyroad58 Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 My dream would be to see these 3 relegated Blackburn Spurs Newcastle In no particular order mind, i'm not fussy
Electric Gretar Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 My dream would be to see these 3 relegated Blackburn Spurs Newcastle In no particular order mind, i'm not fussy Mine would be : Blackburn Blackburn Blackburn In no particular order either
Chris T. Church Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 prefer Boro to go and anyone else.\ Defo mate, can't stand that club. Personally I think it'll be West Brom, Newcastle and Boro with Hull and the Dingles escaping by the skin on their nads.
Traf Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 WBA, Stoke and Boro for me I'd rather those 3 stayed up. And the likes of Spurs, Newcastle and Blackburn went down. Although I don't want another struggle next seasom, WBA, Stoke, Hull, Portsmouth and Boro staying up would make next season easier along with the 3 promoted teams, that's 12th place at least!
athywhite1958 Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I agree with you Traf, but I can't see any way out of it for WBA and Stoke, Boro may have enough to get out of it, I'd love any of the ones you say to go down but I fear only one f them will go -please let it be the Dingles
frosty1982 Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 newcastle blackburn WBA in that order, Newcastle being relgated on the last day of the season !!
Hutch Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I think Newcastle's tough remaining fixture has fed through to the betting http://www.oddschecker.com/football/englis...ship/relegation West Brom Boro Newcastle Blackburn will just sneak out of it
MickyD Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Who I'd like to go down: Blackburn, Newcastle, Portsmouth Who I think will go down: WBA, Hull, Portsmouth.
Guest realbwfc Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Who I'd like to go down: Blackburn, Newcastle, Portsmouth Who I think will go down: WBA, Hull, Portsmouth. I have a bad feeling for Hull (dont know tonights result yet) my 3 would be HULL STOKE (prefer it to be Boro) WBA
tyldesley_white Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 (edited) Who I'd like to go down: Blackburn, Newcastle, Portsmouth Who I think will go down: WBA, Hull, Portsmouth. Spurs for me , just to fuck up the twitchers CV up, and see what the likes of Lennon, Woodgate, Jenas, keane, Bent, Bently, Dawson and Chimbonda do, also I would like Hull to stop up not because of Brown, I want the underdog to come out a winner and give fans of smaller clubs ( bit like us) something to hope for A bit off topic I wonder now Arsenel will go on when/if they dont get the Champs league money and have to play in UFEA cup, could this be the start of a bit of changing of the old guard Edited February 23, 2009 by tyldesley_white
Guest bwfcdan Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 I would like to see Spurs Boro and Newcastle go down. I can see West Brom, Stoke and Portsmouth goin down
wovlad Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Not really bothered about who goes down as long at its not us. Would like to see at least one of the so called bigger clubs go so that means Spuds or Toon.
Casino Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 hull and 2 others the dream is still alive btw, the radio 5 'experts' earlier said 36 points to stay up i tend to agree
agentorange Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 Stoke have got some very winnable home games left ('part from week on Tues of course). And their home form is good. Won't go down. WBA will and maybe Boro
Traf Posted February 23, 2009 Posted February 23, 2009 the dream is still alive btw, the radio 5 'experts' earlier said 36 points to stay up i tend to agree I think I said about 36-37 would be enough ages back.
