EyesRight Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 http://www.sportspromedia.com/notes_and_in...premier_league/ I can't see why we would be bottom, I've been to most of the away games this year and only remember people being chucked out at Birmingham really. Anyone any ideas?
no balls Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Is this home games too? That'll be your answer.
Carlos Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 (edited) Depends how they've calculated it. Our stewards appear to be the biggest cunts on the planet along with the most over-zealous police force in the country. Our fans are a soft touch and the club are probably complicit in that too. We haven't killed anyone recently unlike Burnley and Liverpool, I wouldn't worry about it. Edited November 12, 2009 by Carlos
Sweep Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 A maximum of ten points per match are awarded for fan behaviour by match delegates. I wonder who these match delegates are, and what they award the points on. It seems a bit pointless producing a "league table" and then not stating what points are given for (or not) Perhpas delegates were sat near to NB and her potty mouth, hence us being bottom of the league
Carlos Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 This delegate watches the game on a TV under the ESL.
Guest Biff Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I've been to at least two games this season where I have had less passengers returning than going owing to have been arrested.

whiteboy Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 During each Premier League match, delegates from the Premier League score fans based on the following criteria: (1) verbal support in acceptable form and (2) recognition of outstanding play by opponents.

Fuck off! Who who's done this league? Roger Nouveau Football Fan?
HR Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Fuck off! Who who's done this league? Roger Nouveau Football Fan? That verbal support bit's a bit too far fetched as well.
beer_swiller Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Maybe they have included the insults aimed at Gary Megson to warrant such position. As for support, we were applauded by both Guimeaeres and Munich fans for vocal support. The vocals away at Blackburn didn`t help the cause neither.
Matt Lofthouse Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Anyone else see the couple of lads going for it last home game at half time ESL. One lad went down and got his head stamped on which was nice, then the lad who did the stamping got his nose broke by some random fella. All over a spilt pint apparently. Went to Munich, Madrid and Guimares and most fights I witnessed( apart from the Spanish police) were Bolton on Bolton. I blame Megson.

Sounds fun, I remember something similar happening at Stoke away last year
Mounts Kipper Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 I've been to at least two games this season where I have had less passengers returning than going owing to have been arrested. That is what happens when you run with the Bolton main lads.
Latham8WFC Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Like Carlos said it depends on how they have calculated it: Looking at percentages: If we take 200 fans and 20 are thrown out thats 10%, however if another club take 500 fans and 45 are thrown out thats 9% Therefore we are statistically worse.....but have less fans actually thrown out.

RUREADY2ROLL Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 Liverpool and Burnley - both clubs fans are animals We get poor points because of the stewards at away games getting pissed off with us standing - Bleeding standing thats really going to cause a riot - its the bleeding stewards who cause the trouble Manure smash up grounds and we stand up - bad lot us Bolton Fack um - We are Bolton and we dont care
Smiffs Posted November 12, 2009 Posted November 12, 2009 <Note to ones self> Stop smearing 'Munich 58' in shit on the toilet walls at away matches.
ianovit Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 I can understand us being bottom of the ladder given the criteria if home games only count. 1 Verbal support has been almost non existent, certainly around me in ESL this season but that is probably because we have only won one home league game. Fans react to the performance on the pitch. It also gives an opportunity for the assessor to criticise fans for having a go at Megson. 2 "Recognition" generally only occurs once a team is 2 or 3 goals up and fans get giddy cause they dont give a f*ck. We haven`t been in that position this season so same applies. If away games are considered then its bollocks.
