Guest Biff Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Simon Grayson from Leeds would be great in many ways for me and Chief Wiggum. Why, would he give you a lift to the game every Saturday.
Boothy Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Thats a good point, seem to recall something like that.
no balls Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 So that meams we won't have a silly compensation pay out ot make then surely?
EyesRight Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 He was on a contract like that but then signed a 3 year deal this time last year IIRC.
DaveTheRave Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Didn't he have to sign a contract because of some premier league rules?
Guest Frandsen08 Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Didn't he have to sign a contract because of some premier league rules? i think so i think thats the same reason tony pulis had to sign one

Horwich Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 How many goes does Casino get with him being a Mod? He's had 8 so far.
frosty1982 Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 If we could prize him away from winning stuff in Holland the Steve MCLaren would be a belter IMO however i suspect he'd want to come back to a higher profile club than ours if he came, do you think he'd put on a Bolton accent for the press?
superjohnmcginlay Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 You said it three times though. If it happens like Beetlejuice, I will find you and hurt you! Great film
desperado Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Gartside has told the BEN, it's not a time to panic. He will probably get at least the next 2 away games
george Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 Simon Grayson from Leeds would be great in many ways for me and Chief Wiggum. This is who I would have top of the list of the promising young managers.

HomerJay Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 part of me thinks he should be gone, just to put an end to this feeling amongst fans. but the other half thinks, no matter who we get, there will still be moaning. and as crazy as it may sound, how shit we are on the pitch is nothing compared to constant fooking moaning after every defeat. getting to the point were i just cant be arsed anymore.

Ive always been a Phill Gartside admirer, but this has somewhat worn off. I sincerely hope he does care and love the club as he states he does. My gut feeling is he will leave Megson in charge, the club will go down, Gartside will then resign, all is too late. If he has any doubts sack Megson now before another two games down the line without points are reality. There is clearly a devide amongst players and Im not too sure if he can rectify these issues. Time now for a change.
shytalk Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 5 from 10, 11 from 12. Both as bad as each other IMO. It wasnt impossible for Lil Sam to have got 11 from 12. Highly unlikely, but this run is no different.

Highly unlikely, but this run is no different. I think that is a very good point. No ones knows if we would have stayed up under Little Sammy given time. Trying to cast my mind to the reason why Little Sam went was it the 5 points from 10 games or was it also the fact that he lost the dressing room as well. Anyone enlighten me ?
worthy10 Posted November 23, 2009 Posted November 23, 2009 it seems a common opinion this weekend, that people have tried to tolerate and be patient with Megson and i would put myself in that catagory. If he were to go, there is then the problem of finding a replacement. If a pole was done prior to Megson arriving, the numbers in his favour would be few indeed. I for one would love to see the likes of hierro, bergson, dyorkieff get the job. they would be risks initially but what a lift the club and fans would get from this type of appointment, in total contrast to the mood since megsons arrival
