green genie Posted October 26 Posted October 26 Wasn’t sure if to put this in choosing a film thread. The Roses with Olivia Coleman and Cumberbatch kept her indoors amused whilst I played spot the locations around Salcombe being used for California. Know The Winking Prawn owners used for the restaurant from working on the Sewage pumping station directly behind it. Nice couple got invited to the premiere The Long Walk getting stick for similarities to Squid Game despite being written by King (as Bachman) in the 70s. Quote

Love that book. I must've read it 4 or 5 times. I got it as part of a collection with 3 other RB books - Rage, Running Man & Roadwork..... Quote

Tonge moor green jacket Posted October 26 Posted October 26 I watched "The Pope's Exorcist" last night. Ot wasn't the best film, but wasn't the worst. Based on a real priest who was an exorcist and who wrote books about his work. I suspect those books may be more interesting than the film. Quote
green genie Posted November 2 Posted November 2 Warfare shows in realtime account of a Navy Seals operation in Iraq which doesn’t go to plan based on the actual recollection of those there Quote
