bolty58 Posted April 15, 2025 Posted April 15, 2025 Green And Gold. Worth a watch if you have any interest at all in American football and/or the dairy state. I know two families very similar to the main one depicted. One in Richfield and another in Menomonee Falls. Off to stay with the latter for a short while in the New Year. Packer and Badger thirst will be sated. Not sure about 'tractor pulls' and walleye hunts but yee har. Leinenkugels. Quote
royal white Posted June 1, 2025 Posted June 1, 2025 Last Breath with Jason Statham. It was a good watch the documentary/film is better though. Quote

Cheese Posted June 22, 2025 Posted June 22, 2025 (edited) Re-watching '28 Days Later' in anticipation of the recent release of '28 Years Later'. Forgot how great a film it is, but fuck me the Cockney accents are almost as bad as that geordie who was in Green Street. Must have been too pissed to notice 20 years ago. Zico Posted July 2, 2025 Posted July 2, 2025 is nothing fucking sacred anymore Dear Holllywood, don't you dare touch Red Heat, or try and remake Terminator 1, 2 or Predator feel free to have another crack at The Last Action Hero though Quote

So was the Shawshank Redemption but I don't want anyone to remake that either Or the shining, which was very different to the book Am still wounded from the total recall remake (based on Phillip K Dick story) Quote

It was much more faithful to the book, and was extremely well done. I still love the original though. Quote

I liked the book but didn't like the original film as it just couldn't capture the essence of the story Not seen the remake Will add it to my list I've read Ring, it's a decent, wasn't a huge fan of the Japanese version but the US remake is my #1 horror film, and in my all time top 10 Maybe even top 5 Quote

I was very sceptical, but ended up really impressed. I prefer the Japanese version of Ring. Didn't even know it was based on a book. Quote

There's a trilogy Ring, Loop and Spiral I've got all 3, read the first and got about half way through the second I sometimes just stop reading for a while Then start again and go for it and do a few books in a short space of time Then stop again Currently stopped Quote
