Superb find!! Obviously I’d love my Dad to be still alive (sadly at 105 it would be wishful thinking) but it’s stuff like this that rings so many bells about stuff he told me By 1945 he’d be

Extended coverage of worthys ipswich goal

The skill levels are shocking tbf

I think it was at Hull where Dave Higson broke off from commentating to join in with the singing. Brilliant.

If you dont want to watch it all, start at 21

Charlton away bonfire night.

Missed this as I was ball boy at Blackpool 👀

(After vale)

That goal by Sneekes doesn't really get a mention when talking about our best goals, but that was unbelievable!  I'm struggling to think of a better burst from midfield and rocket shot from distance into the top corner.  The only other one I can think of on that level is rightly lauded as one of the best goals ever at the Reebok.  Take a bow Sneekes, what a player.

Some different footage from the Friday night Hull Game , the footage is slightly ropey but interesting all the same.

Been ages since I've seen that.  Gave me goosebumps! The limbs on the terrace after SJMs winner!

Watch a bit further, TD gets more stick.

Extended highlights from the Cup Win at Highbury in 94 . These are from ITV and feature Alan Parry on Commentary,  instead of the usual John Motson footage .

Still no idea why a yellow card offence chalked off a perfectly good fourth goal.

I can remember loads of that game vividly, more so than the other white hot games.  A packed Highbury looked resplendent under the lights for my one and only visit.  That win seemed more impossible than the other wins just because Arsenal "owned" the FA Cup in those days, they just didn't lose FA Cup ties, and their line up was very much first team (as was the norm then).  No reduced prices for cup ties in them days, great memories.

Even just seeing our kit next to theirs coming out of the tunnel raises the pulse!

You tube said Phil , you might like this , it was worth a share .

Packed terraces in black and white and a few rattles

Absolutely fantastic.  Some proper skill on show as well.  Days when keepers had to make saves, loved the shoot on sight stuff.

Yeah just checked.  Whatmore and Greaves were the scorers.  One of just 3 points we got away from home that season.

Was there with my Dad.

Sorry I’ve just looked and it was the 1982 Xmas game I went to, 1-1.

As a young un I remember leaving the ground being a tad uncomfortable.

I went to the leeds game in 82 and the Newcastle away one a few days later, think Whatmore was back on loan and we were superb both games, remember Newcastle fans mixed in our end that day some with kilts on, was a little bit hairy both games, think Whatmore loan ended soon after and we went back down the pan.

That was the game the Kop at Leeds was closed because of trouble, we were sat in Leeds seats down the side, would have been 14. We went with a family we had met on holiday. The guy on the tannoy announced something about the Bolton coach , we took only 1 !

The family we met up with put lunch on for us, the dad took the opportunity to show us his guns ! He pretended to shoot me but it was ok only a blank ! Nice family !

Apologies. We got 4 points away from home that season.  Draws at Liverpool, Leeds, Man City and WBA

Apologies if already posted . Forest away 95/96 and one of the umpteen last minute goals we conceded .

Fucking hell

Mcanespie for first and was it taggart for second?

Didn't cooper repeat the trick at ours soon after?
