Superb find!! Obviously I’d love my Dad to be still alive (sadly at 105 it would be wishful thinking) but it’s stuff like this that rings so many bells about stuff he told me By 1945 he’d be

But did Lawrenson call us Blackburn or Blackpool? Certainly didn’t sound like Bolton.

Wonderful footage.

Good game.

Amazing number of players that played for both teams.

Yeah, slip of the tongue which he tries to correct as he's saying it.

Bolton hater - FACT.

He's a jealous Nob Ender.

Nice mob of Millwall with Charlton that day.

explains why in that one game Charlton brought more than every other visit since combined

One of whom was John, Forgettable, Salako.

Y'know that thread about great loan signings ? Well, he'll not be in it.

Another sicknote iirc.

Looked like Gary Wilmott and probably played like him too.

Great find. A few observations:-

- Honestly thought Eidur scored late on. Had no idea it was a minute after half time

- Whitlow as captain with Gudni on the pitch(?!)

- Robbie Elliott in centre mid (feel like I do kind of recall this, albeit brief)

- Surprised that Barness started for them so soon before leaving them for us on a free

- Allardyce is absolutely proud as punch to be in charge of us here. Clearly before his head got bigger

- Jensen brilliant

- Good to see that late Jussi save again. Vividly recall him saying that was his best ever save at a Junior Whites meeting circa 2001; has better in his locker. World class

- Was going to remark on Charlton’s following and the amount of players that played for both, but see that’s been covered somewhat

One of the best games & atmospheres at the Reebok.

The atmosphere was fantastic. Remember some bloke coming on the pitch before giving some sort of motivational speech.

That was great to watch again after all this time. I'd almost forgotten how good Claus Jensen could be.

Me too!

He looked so good in that game.

He was a strange player wasn’t he?

When he was on his game he was tremendous. But when he wasn’t,  my goodness, talk about players going missing. I recall one of my dads favourite lines of those times “Wheres that big fucking hole on the pitch…the one that Jensens fell through”

Big Sam wasnt having any of that bollocks. Same with Fish. Toodle pip lads.

Jensen was as soft/mard as they come, which is unfortunate because he had talent to burn.

Bolton v Notts Forest

6 May 2018

The full 90m. You may be tempted just to go to 1:43 though.

I don't doubt it's already on these pages somewhere but, here goes

Fantastic day out.

Somehow ended up right next to them in that end. One of them, wearing a fcuking beret, got smashed in the mouth and then got chucked out by the feds. 😂

Proud to be a Wanderer, that day.

West Brom v Bolton 1993/94 , a great comeback and a screamer from Mcateer .

The Bradford match I remember, but I can't for the life remember why I was in the home seats in the main stand

Great game that . I was in the open end with the wanderers fans , but drove from Nottingham with my mate who was a baggies season ticket holder. We had a pint with one of my other baggies mates in a hotel near the motorway . Wanderers players were relaxing playing pool in a private room .

" You're not boinging  anymore ...You're not boinging  anymore' was a popular chant after mcateer scored
