After the 2-0 defeat at Bury above did Cowdrill not miss the next game at Gigg Lane with Shingles? And folk presumed it was actually because he was shit scared of David Lee?

One of my worst memories as a Bolton fan did not go but desperate times needed the win big time the collapse via radio was gut wrenching for a teenager, makes me sweat even now thinking about it.

One of the most miserable experiences of any Bolton fan who can remember the late 70s.

Bolton 0-3 up at Stamford Bridge against a Chelsea side bottom of the old Div One.

What happened next?

Clive fookin' Walker happened.

Yep.

Clive Walker always happened to us. That bastard would score against us now if they wheeled him out to play against us.

What is it with strikers called Clive and Bolton? Clive Mendonca!!
