Great find, my very favourite time my first full season and that game was 4 days after my 12 birthday, 22,000 on looked more to me, loved to see the embankment with good numbers on it was horrible seeing it ripped in half by Normid took away the real Burnden park when they did that to that great football terrace.

Is that Whitehaven white on the photo with you, the Embankment was vast they chopped the back 3rd of in the 70s then insulted the embankment by putting the normid on there I know it was to save us from going bust but would have rather gone bust wipe the debt and kept the Embankment as it was.
