gonzo Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 Was this from the game we won or got spanked at Chelsea? 5-1 mate.. Nolan didn't score in the win there... Quote
tomski Posted June 30, 2013 Posted June 30, 2013 (edited) 5-1 mate.. Nolan didn't score in the win there... I was at both, but memory isn't the best. Remember a Hendry og at the spanking and obviously the beautiful Terry own goal as it won me £220 on just backing us to win. Edited June 30, 2013 by tomski Quote

Marc505 Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 City supporting mate at work showed me this video today, (not all, thank fuck) a season review of theirs from 1996-1997. Featuring our 1-0 win over them at Burnden early in the season, was that Frandsen's first goal for the club? Starts at about 4.00 mins, fantastic strike that! Then later on highlights of the 2-1 win at Maine Road, which starts on about 57.40 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xOos0jmFPn8 Quote
Leyther_Matt Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Cheers for that Marc. One of my all time favourite nights as a Wanderer and I wasn't even at the game. Remember listening to the game on GMR then being allowed to stay up to watch the highlights on Granada Soccer Night (I was only 10 at the time). That Sellars goal is a seriously under rated moment in our history. Quote
gonzo Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 That Grimsby one is ace! Not seen that since I was a kid. Bet they still talk about us on Grimsbyways. "Half as many Bolton present than Grimsby" Love it love it love it. Quote

Looked great in that away end with our equaliser, people falling out of the front row! Quote
radcliffe white Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 There was a massive fuck up that night regarding our allocation think we got 2500 could of sold thousands more should of give all behind goal. Quote

gonzo Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 There was a massive fuck up that night regarding our allocation think we got 2500 could of sold thousands more should of give all behind goal. Seen to remember it being less. They basically didn't want us having a party in their ground. My dad drove us to Maine road the week before to try and get tickets in the home end to no avail. Ended up getting them off a city a season ticket holder my brother knew from chorley. Sat in JD family end but got politely asked to leave. We ended up sat in the disabled section at the front of main stand. Great seeing bits of debris making its way out of the Bolton filled private boxes in the kippax. Even better seeing thousands of whites celebrate in homes end at the end. Looked bouncing in the away end...inflatable champagne bottles etc. Quote
