Superb find!! Obviously I’d love my Dad to be still alive (sadly at 105 it would be wishful thinking) but it’s stuff like this that rings so many bells about stuff he told me By 1945 he’d be

We get it, everything the trust does is meh!!! Might help if you give your head a wobble.

Not at all, I think it's great that they organise such events as nobody else can/does.
I just think that if someone posted the questions on here beforehand, we'd come up with most of the answers Neil & Ian came up with.

PS give MY head a wobble? You'd know about the need for that.

No one wants to hear our opinion though.

Oh dear…. Give it another wobble… first wobble not had the desired effect. 🤣

I remember this! Wasn't it a Sunday afternoon game live on ITV?

Any excuse to post this again. Even though it looks good on the video it still doesn't do justice to how wild they actually went after that goal. Fair play to um.

Someone needs to send Neil Hart a screenshot of the South Stand for that game, the gap between the ESL and the South Stand = No trouble, yet still masses of away tickets sold.

We don't need to close crazy corner to control any problems, just place the no-go zone in the South/East corner - job done.

I know this thread is mainly throwbacks to days of old but just rewatched this with a massive grin on my face

Joe Royle orchestrates the celebrations = fuck off Manny Rd for all the shit youve been flinging 😆

Souness did similar after Liverpool equalized

ITV4s Saturday morning Big Match Revisited for 1980/1 concludes this morning on the day Villa won the title. Been a frustrating run for Bolton fans as it has missed out the occasions we featured (Newcastle at home; West Ham at home). However it seems they are carrying straight in to the 1981/2 season now - but with Granada's Matchtime (as presented by dear old Elton) rather than the Big Match with Brian Moore. There's already one BWFC game on You Tube from this season - the 2-2 home draw v Chelsea in early 1982. The first time we are likely to feature is a 0-2 home league defeat to Oldham in September 1981. This was the season we stayed up by the skin of our teeth beating Sheff Weds on the last day.

Great find. Would love to see some more footage of that season (and indeed the first 3-4 years at the Reebok)

I have a match worn shirt from Bob Taylor. The Royal blue with black and white diagonals...

Somewhere.

Was it Gillingham we got beat at the night before England Germany at Wembley?

A 2-2 draw against Oldham in 1994 after being 2-0 up . Joe Royle taking great pleasure after the equaliser.
