Carlos Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 5-1 win for the Colls, enjoyable evening That prick Breezeblock was there, stood on his own like a proper turnstile licker. Didn't threaten to sue me this time at least. Quote
athywhite1958 Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 Who is this Breezeblock? is he from Colls? Quote
Carlos Posted August 25, 2016 Posted August 25, 2016 He occasionally watches them, I can't tell you any more or he'll set the lawyers on me. OAP internet troll. Quote

Traf Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 did anyone watch the docomentary on salford last night? like them or not, it's good publicity for non league football imo I watched it, I watched the first series too. Irrespective of the United element, I find stuff like this interesting. Quote
Carlos Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 Partly interesting as they are now halfway between Colls and Bolton. However, odd that so much is about Seddon. Spoiler alert, he's now at Rammy. Quote
Gumbo Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 I like the programme. BBC have produced it well. It's interesting. They are paying big wages and as a result have decent players. Management pair are not my cuppa mind. Quote
athywhite1958 Posted August 26, 2016 Posted August 26, 2016 2 of our media lads at Colls are going to do a 30 minute documentary on Atherton Collieries as part of their university media studies and as part of our centenary year Quote

leigh white Posted August 26, 2016 Author Posted August 26, 2016 How come Salford City are wearing red shirts ? Went a few years ago when they played Leigh Genesis and they played in Tangerine. The snack bar was an hovel then. Quote

Ghana White Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 My mate does the PA for them, not watched the doc yet but I will do. Bit like some Bolton fans when in prem, he says he loves how good they are now but misses the old days. He talks about how good the club house was when everyone went off to hotel football after the cup wins and it was just the old fans left in there from before the investment. I don't mind them to be honest. I find some of their fans a bit arrogant but they've got reason to be I suppose. It's a terrible ground and I know the big rumour is the Nevilles are going to sell it for property and move them to salford city reds but there's loads of room to extend. Which is unlike most non league grounds. Talking to my mate the shame of the last series was that the real funny/dodgy stories and proper non league stuff is done behind the Nevilles back so obviously can't be aired. Quote
Gumbo Posted August 27, 2016 Posted August 27, 2016 Another 4-0 win for the Tigers today Gwarn Hyde Quote

Bit like some Bolton fans when in prem How have Rammy started the season pal? Have you stabilised to give yourselves a shot at promotion or do you have a couple more years to get back on an even footing? Quote
Ghana White Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Not been down yet but made some very good signings. Can't be any worse then last year. I think rammy will be top half edge of play offs perhaps. Feels like theyve rebuilt the team now but there's a few teams stronger. Quote
Ghana White Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Another 4-0 win for the Tigers today Gwarn Hyde Any idea on the keeper sending off? Read a few things slagging Hyde off for winning by unsportsmanship. All by the other teams fans though. Quote
Gumbo Posted August 28, 2016 Posted August 28, 2016 Was at the Charlton game so can't tell you what I've seen. I understand the keeper brought some of the players in for a chat whilst the ref had restarted the game. The keeper put the ball down so the Hyde player put the ball in the net. All a bit strange.
