C86 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Colls chairman and secretary were up in front of the league committee on Wednesday following complaints by the league officials who attended the Glossop game V Colls, we have been fined £280 for damage to the roof of the dugout (admittedly punched by one of our subs when our second player was sent off, and,................... as our players were coming off the pitch at full time a bloke shouted to one of them for him to pass him the match ball which he did, not knowing who this person was, they have fined us another £20 for a new ball saying the person he gave it to was one of his mates and he ran off with the ball They think Colls are getting "above one's station" pal. They better get used to it and fuck um! Quote
Carlos Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 We were stood near an emergency exit with a big fucking padlock on. They should deal with things like that first. Quote
Ani Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Only got two pubs and a chippy. Guiseley has at least half a dozen pubs, there is one called the Station, which surprisingly where you get off the train, the White Cross is just up from the ground. But few more on the main road. One chippy !! There are two and one of them is the original Harry Ramsdens. Quote

It was tongue in cheek, was supping in Leeds earlier on when I went in a cup tie to Guiseley a few years ago, got to be at least six foot to see any action if stood on the terraces though. Quote
athywhite1958 Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Another load of vandalism at Athy Colls, some twats tried to get in the club last night, they have caused hundreds of pounds damage to the metal shutters on the windows and cellar door, they have tried to break the front door in but couldn't so they tried to burn it down by pushing a burning hoody through the letterbox, we had a 'do' on yesterday and every penny plus a lot more will be taken for the repairs, police reckon there are loads of fingerprints there so there is a chance of them being caught and charged with arson. Absolute arseholes. Quote

athywhite1958 Posted June 14, 2015 Posted June 14, 2015 Just back from Blackpool, beltin time (if you like Ma Kelly's at Gay Pride weekend) the league presentation was a great do for the Colls, every club had one table of 10 people, we had 4 tables such is the popularity at the moment, we did very well in the award stakes with: First Division champions First Division Cup runners up Open Cup runners up First Division Manager of the Year First Division Goalscorer of the Year First Division Goalkeeper of the Year First Division Programme of the Year Not forgetting Bolton Hospital Cup winners So, all in all a great season and looking forward to next season in the Premier League, I hope to see many of you in the pre-season friendly against a Bolton X1, you'll all be welcome at the Colls. peebles Posted July 17, 2015 Posted July 17, 2015 Ticking off Turriff United next week on a Highland League jaunt. Don't think I can be assed going any further from my Aberdeenshire base though & will cover some old ground after that. Never did Cove Rangers and it's gone to the bulldozers now sadly. Quote
