I think there has been some major issues behind the scenes, all the players were huggy touchy before kick off, but trying to make them work as a team this way just wont work.

Luiz got so much space because we played 451 but didn't actually know how to deal with the spare Centre half bombing forward.

4 of the 5 goals today came down our left hand side! A year ago Robinson was many on heres player of the year, this year 80% of the goals we have conceded have come down his side(and his fault). You can blame Petrov all you want but he did his job today(marking boswinga), when we conceded goals the ball came from the centre (not petrovs job) over the back of robbo and we where done. We all had are list of priorities in the summer and left back was not on the top of anyones list! Only mystic meg could have predicted Robinson going from a prem player to a pub player in 6 months.

 

Everyone bar Robinson, Bogdan and Ngog did there defensive job well today. How many times did David Luiz run the ball up the field? If a centre mid lad comes out to meet him then either Lampard or Mata is free in the middle, Its Ngogs job as lone striker to snap at the heels of the centre halves.

 

For me after we let the second in we should have gone from 4-5-1 to 5-4-1 with 3 centre halves and two full backs so if the full back gets beat and a centre half has to cover him then we still have two centre halves in the box to defend the trouble.

 

Fuck 4-5-1 against the best we need 5-4-1 only becaause our left back is a pub player and we need one player just to cover his arse.
