  • what did we expect them to do? roll over and die all in hail of the mighty bolton that lay slay to stoke last week?   we were playing a well organised west brom at home.hardly easy hunting ground.

Yes, I managed that very easily thankyou.

Now if you could explain it to Bolton va va, we can end this conversation.

bvv is a bright fella

i'm sure he doesn't need owt explaining

its not him seeing stuff between the lines that isn't there

Only ray of hope I can see is that 34/35 points might keep us up this season.

That second half is one of the worst I've ever seen, thought we were the better side first half though.

Oh, bless you.

Sticking up for your fwiend & educating thickies like me.

Is there no end to your super powers? Or is it just for a new scout badge?

i haven't a clue who he is

i'd be happy to make his acquaintance someday

got his head screwed on

Well, if inflecting in his comment that Klasnic does Fook all, is having 'his head screwed on' then your welcome to each other

They looked tempting. Especially as the were carrying them at nose height through the pub. That bitter was excellent, worth the trip down just for that.

Tikka was good, my son went for the spicy one and was suffering for it later on. Sorry to whoever used that bog in Stockport station after him.

spicy one being the chicken with the dips?

went down well

The masala chicken tikka instead of just tikka. He was nearly crying by the end, same as at 90min in the game really.

Something doesn't smell right to me-how we can be so different in two halves of the same game is bizarre but if I remember rightly Hodgsons Fulham had our card marked pretty much and credit where it's due he's done something at half time to tweek his team and killed us - coyle left with his thumb up his jacksee again??

Coyles got stuck in to the "senior" players again - Reo Coker's had his little tantrum at the team we've had all the rallying calls from k davies, robbo etc but running out of things to do and I'm starting to think there might be a problem in the dressing room BUT I would stick with that team maybe swap Ngog for K Davies but we need a settled side - wouldnt be surprised to see K Davies sold in Jan at all.

i bumped into a wways poster at half time

he said it was just like swansea and so long as we kept 11 on the pitch, we'd win

i agreed it was like swansea and we'd get beat 4-1

for me, the signs were there first half - they had runners getting behind our back 4, at will

Wouldn't listen to him again then!

One of the most dissapointing second hlafs I have seen that, think we got into the penalty area a grand total of twice and zero times after Davies went off.

More chance of us winning the league.

Everyone's got our card marked. Hodgson just told them at half time that we're giving them too much space, close them down, push on. Whereupon we just fall back and defend deeper and deeper and play about 15 yards nearer our own goal.

Wish OC would get stuck in when they are on the pitch. Get up there, challenge, put yourselves about.

Away from home you can't play the beautiful game against our direct competitors. You have to get stuck in and grind results out. We're soft physically and most importantly mentally and that comes direct from the manager.

So did we play, well,ok or shit, been away, not seen or heard head nor tail of it :iiam:

1st half we played well, kept the ball well also, there was a passage of play where we must have had a 40 pass combo going, though it wasn't very progressive, there goal was fortunate due to Cahill being a slapper and not closing his legs. M.Davies went on a good run and should have done better than too hit it at Foster, any corner and it's a great goal. There wasn't many chances for either side though.

2nd half was worse than the Liverpool game earlier in season, didn't think it could any worse than that, it was all West Brom, it was like them v a team just clearing the ball and seeing it come back.

cheers mate.

Part of the problem on saturday was us not closing their attack down quick enough, its happened on many occasions this season city at home springs to mind and it was the same with west broms second goal.its basic football tactics the way they managed to get the cross in for long to score, we may not be the most gifted team in the prem but getting tight on players should be second nature.

lets assume we sack coyle, do you have anyone special you would like the club to appoint so you can immediately want them out ?

At various times in the second half the lad next to me said Jussi was shit, Riley was shit, Robinson was shit, Cahill was shit, Wheater was shit, Petrov was shit, Davies was shit, Mavis was shit, Eagles was shit, Muamba was shit and Klasnic was shit. Our defending was shit and our passing was shit. When he got his wish for Ngog and Kakuta to come on the fact that we continued to play the ball in the air was shit. In fact during the second half he used the word shit at least 200 times. The monotony was only relieved when he called Foster a paedophile nonce with a lesbian wife.

I think he thought we played ok.

On a different tack I was in the queue for the bog behind a lad with BIFF 21 on his shirt. Now that is shit.
