Excellent potential signing. The kind of player we should be chasing.

This time last year we were signing sturridge not knowing wether he was decent and look what happened. I'm not saying Sordell is going to be that good but from the bits I have seen he is in that kind of mould.

Seen him once in the flesh. Young, pacey, Raw. Good player, adds something different to the the squad. 3 million is good business.

 

Not got the same potential upside to Zaha but then hes less than half the price.

 

Just hope Coyle wanted him and wasnt just trying to sign anyone to appease the fans.

Pace and power up front is something that we have needed for a while. I'm positive on this one.

Coyle seems to have a good handle on good young players so I will reserve judgement and the lad has served his apprenticeship actually playing games in a decent league, but I wonder if we would have been better stretching a little for Zaha or trying for Ravel Morrison, I suppose time will tell.
