Mike Ring Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Lovely bloke but way out of his depth. The squad is definately good enough to keep us up, unfortunately he is not. How can 20,000 fans know what the formation SHOULD be, but the man who picks the team doesnt. His backroom staff (whoever they are) are just yes men, getting the bigest pay day they will ever get. We can get out of this but it needs changes now - either the manager goes (highly unlikely) or his backroom staff goes and experience is brought in (Peter Reid?). I'm pissed and wouldnt normally write on a forum but today is as bad has it gets for me, and i have been through the worst times as Wanderer. For fcucks sake get it sorted! Quote
magic legs Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 3 hours of drinking had put me in a better mood until I came back on here! Midfield going forward has to be the central 3 we all want with Petrov and Ryo on the wings. Let them get used to each other for the key home games to come. Ngog for the moment up front but gradually bring in Sordell. Quote

anewman Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 CUNT SACK THE CUNT NOW THIS RESULT IS UNFORGIVALBLE| SO WHAT IF MUAMBA TURNED UP LATE YOU FUCKED US UP. YOU TURNED ME TO VIOLENCE Quote

YOU TURNED ME TO VIOLENCE Explain..... Would love to know what kevin Davies has done to warrant a start hence a change in formation? We were just lunping it at him and he can't move to reach the ball these days. Quote
white -50 Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 We blew it big time today... and for me.. .Coyle is to Blame. I know its already been said.... but why ... 4-4-2. He could get sacked on Monday and i would't give a fuck... lost all confidence in him. Always a Wanderer... Quote
keithbwfc Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 no fight, passion or commitment. ngog couldnt control a bag of cement, petrovs a lazy bastard and coyle needs to FUCK OFF. Quote
HomerJay Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 (edited) Did you actually watch ngog or petrov did a bloke in the pub tell you that. Ngogs control was exceptional he just did know what to do with it after that. Petrov is currently working harder than he ever has. Edited February 12, 2012 by HomerJay Quote
jules_darby Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Ngog appears to have more options when we play 4-5-1 that when we play 4-4-2 I know he's up front on his own but the midfielders appear more willing to run past him and gamble Another reason for that formation Ngog is a verybgood footballer, that's very very clear Quote
magic legs Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Good point re Ngog. Can't fault his work rate and hold up play, but can we afford to play a striker who doesn't score. Maybe use the Millwall game to play 451 with Sordell up front (if he isn't cup tied). Quote

Biggish Dave Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 That was dogshit yesterday, we were very lucky to pull it back to 1-1 but when we did I thought we would go on to win. I cant believe how we could win so many home games last season with 4-4-2 compared to this season. I suppose it just goes to show how big Holden and Chungy are for the team - they will destroy championship sides next season if we get potted and they stay. Totally inept - losing wasn't an option yesterday considering the upcoming fixtures. Still, saturday 3pm and tuesday night footy is fine by me - oh yeah, Charlton is a brilliant away day too Quote
Arrested development Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 no fight, passion or commitment. ngog couldnt control a bag of cement, petrovs a lazy bastard and coyle needs to FUCK OFF. Lets not be starting with this passion/commitment nonsense again. This defeat is totally on coyle. Quote
gonzo Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 just echoing sentiments already passed on here...... when i heard the team selection i was very close to not bothering going in. not one fan in that stadium yesterday could make any kind of case for what coyle put out. i feel like strangling the idiot. im sure hes got mental health issues. why can he not see what the whole fucking world can see? Zico Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 somebody on here asked 'should we really be playing 4-5-1 against wigan' i didn't understand why it needed asking but to actually see the dick thinking 4-4-2 made sense absolutely defied belief It was me, Id like to claim it as a rhetorical question, I'd like to even think we could go 4-4-2 if we went with two tacklers in the middle, you know, like in the halcyon days of Muamba and Holden, but those days are now a distant memory, for Owen Quote
keithbwfc Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 not faulting Ngogs work rate, just dont think he's very good. petrov's never really convinced me, has the odd good game but he's far to inconsistant. Quote
Didledee Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 (edited) Beat Everton, Beat Liverpool, Draw v Arsenal, getting on top v Norwich AND THEN...... WHY? THESE LAST 2 GAMES HAVE GONE A LONG WAY IN RELEGATING US [LIKE 2011], CITY AND CHELSEA NEXT, PFFT!! Edited February 12, 2012 by Didledee Quote
