More than justifies dinner on the table after every home game that does.

Not even bothered going out anywhere today it was so hot, sat on the chair watching the telly with a fan blasting cool air in my face.

I was in central Birmingham today.

I cannot remember being hotter than this in the UK at any point in my life.

Lad got a new meaco fan (made here in the uk) recently. It's incredibly quiet, and very effective for a comparatively small unit.

Definitely recommend them.

Nice recommendation! I'll probably get one delivered on Friday when an unexpected snow bomb hits the North West!

His model has various controls that allow you to slow/stop it at a given temperature, so don't need it on all night and wake up with a frozen leg.

They're excellent products, I've got one of them as well. They are one of our customers, although we do tend to deliver the products we sell to them to their main manufacturing partner, which is most definitely not in the UK

Meaco fan's are great, so quiet and well worth the investment.

Joined up with one of the Japanese electronic companies iirc (or maybe Korean etc) for purposes of expanding market.

Yes, they are in bed with a larger corporation, I'm not sure who it is though to be honest. Most of what they sell here is actually made in Central Europe though (Romania or Poland I think) and then trucked across here to the UK direct to the warehouses of their distributors. They used to do final assembly here in the UK, but moved most of it offshore about 18 months ago. They still place their orders via their UK office, which is near Woking from memory, so we still get the sale and commission, which is nice 😊

 

Anyway, their products, as said above, are decent, I'm well pleased with the 2 units that we have.

My son was born in a heatwave in 2013. My Mrs was a fucking dragon that last couple of weeks. If she wasn't ready to pop you'd have just gone fuck you.. I'm out.
